can't lose weight...

Quote  |  Reply

I'm 5'4" and 129 lbs. :-O I'm trying to lose weight, eating like 1300 calories a day and working out several times a week. what happens is, one day I'll weigh 128, then the next day 130, then 129, then I'll hold steady for a few days and the cycle will begin again. I just can't seem to lose any real weight and I'm trapped in this strange cycle! Any ideas?

Oh, I'm 15 btw.

You're probably not eating enough calories. Up your calories to about 1600-1800 and keep with your workout regimen and I bet that you'll start seeing a difference.

thanks! It's really strange that eating more can help you lose weight :/

ur starving your body thats why teens need 1800 cals if there sedentary exspect a bit of weight gain when u up to 1800+ becuase of the starving urself

^^Yeah, ok. Everybody's different, dude.

Your body can retain water weight, and that is probably why you are fluctuating. Try just adding a workout during the week and lowering your sodium intake. See if that helps! Good Luck
