Can't get motivated...
I have absolutely no motivation to go to the gym today and weight lift. The weather is crappy, which makes me want to just lay around and do nothing. I could do a workout video I suppose, but that doesn't sound fun either.
My motivation for working out has been, in general, crappy lately. Not sure what the problem is because I really DO enjoy lifting weights. I just am having a hard time getting myself there.
One of the best things I did for my motivation to work out was to start doing it at my house. The gym I belong too is about a 15 minute ride across town one way. By the time I would get there, get in a good work out, and get back home, I was sometimes gone for 2 hours depending on traffic conditions.
You can definitely lift weights at home, you can definitely get in cardio at home, and on those days where you want to go to the gym, GO! :)

exercise is the key! just do it. you need to make yourself do it. it's like showering. you don't want to get in, but once you do, you don't want to get out. lol
exercise is great for stress AND it actually gives you more energy!
When I'm not in the mood to do it, I do it anyway! Losing weight is hard work-you have to work for it. You have to want it. Set goals. Its easy to say your not in the mood to do it, but where does that get you?? The words-Just do it-come to mind. You have to stay motivated, and if you don't have a reason for getting in shape, make one up! Set your goals, measure your progress, and treat yourself when you accomplish them. I promise you-you'll feel a lot better about yourself when its over, and you'll be glad you did it.
