Can't get out of the 180s!!!

I need some motivation.  My weight crept up to the 190s (gulp) and now I'm in the 180s and can't get into the 170s to save my life!!  I was at 182 on Monday but that was before I had some Chips Ahoy cookies today and 2 cupcakes at work (stupid baby shower!!)  I want to see the 170s again!!!! 

Anyone else struggling to see the 170s and close to it now??

Wow, we are in the exact same boat. I was all the way up to 196 and I have been able to stay at 183 for the last month. I have been watching what I eat and exercising but like you, I need an extra push. I guess I hit a plateau. I would really like to be at least down to 175 by the 4th of July.

So what is your plan to get out of the 180s forever?  Smile  Are you working out?  I am starting back to the gym next week.

Don't get discouraged.  I was stuck in the 180s for forever.  I'm currently stuck in the low 170s for, I swear, four months.  Just watch the intake and keep exercising.  Make sure you're getting enough fiber.  You'll get there in time, I promise.

I am setting my calorie goal for 1600 daily. Also, at least 3 days of weight training and 45 minutes of cardio. I always slack on weight training but I think it's really important. You can see the results quickly if you stick to it. Do you want to have a weigh in day?

Wow, I am in almost exactly the same place!  Started at 195, down to ~183, shooting for 175 by July 4 since my sister-in-law is getting married that day.  I haven't really plateaud since I've been able to lose a little each week, but boy is it slow going!

I started working out regularly again about a month ago...I usually do 30-40 minutes of cardio 4x a week, circuit training 2x a week for an hour, and then have one day where I get to be lazy and do nothing.  I'm at 1700 cals - usually a bit under on the weekends since I sleep in and need one less snack.  I'm hoping that the slow loss is just my body adjusting to all the changes I've made, since there have been a lot!  I probably could stand to up the cardio a little bit...

I think slow but steady is really good. You are more likely to keep it off that way.

Wow, I wish I did better on weekends. That is my biggest challenge. All of the temptations......

Same boat, I was 200+ in January. Lost and today I am floating around 180, going to keep trying for one more week. If that does not work I will try to maintain my weight and wait a week before going back to my routine see if I can kick the metabolism.
