I can't stop eating even when I am not hungry

I think for the past two weeks I have been eating nonstop especially junk food like chocolate, chips, and cookies. When I go out with my friends I alwalys buy something like from Starbucks, See's Candies, Sweet Factory. I have gained about two pounds. I want to lose five pounds by Halloween. What do I do?

Stop eating when your not hungry. You are the only one that can do it.  Drink water and tell yourself that before you eat that cookie to have to do ten sit ups or walk around the block. You can be your own worse enemy or your own best friend. Bottom line is it is your choice.

sounds like you have alot of stress, I know when I get really stressed out or nervous about something I HAVE to do something, before it was eating, now I workout when I feel like that.

 

One more thing, I know people say its ok to have that kinda stuff around your house, but I do not, and so when I'm tempted or wanting to eat junk food, there is none to eat, so the only thing left in the frig is healthy food, so I eat a banana or a apple and it really helps the cravings alot!!!! After I ate the banana or apple I feel better not only because I ate something "sweet" but it was also healthy :)

I agree darkqueen. i try to not keep the temptations around. There are times when I prowel the house looking for something but it isn't there and I move on. It is usually when I am bored
I've been in the same situation these past two weeks. its horrible and i know the feeling! Just dedicate one day where you will start your diet once again. thats what im doing and worked so far :)

(also you ccan buy a nice, semirevealing halloween costume so that next time you want to buy all that candy, you think twice :)
I suggest to simply avoid going to places with junk food. Instead, pay a visit to the park for exercise. Resist going to the snack aisles at supermarkets, and just don't buy anything that will tempt you to go into a junk food craze. Hope this helps.
