I cant stop, I'm about to cry =(

It's been 3 days of binging over 2000 calories! I noticed my stomach getting bigger around the love handles area. I'm so depressed, I hate myself, I hate the way I can't control what I eat, I hate that I love sugar so much, and I hate that I only have 5 pounds to lose (now probably 10 :( ) when others are able to eat healthy for a month and lose 15 pounds, I can't even last maximum 3 days eating healthy. I feel like crap, and i feel unloved. What is my partner going to say once I gain all this weight?
Arghhhhh I need real help I'm seriously about to cry :'( :'( :'(

You eat crap you will feel like crap. Sounds like you are in a downward spiral. The only thing to do is to slap yourself, stop feeling self pity and move back up. Who says weight loss is easy? It is not. Every one has different goal and their own evil. So stop looking and comparing yourself to others.
Only you can love yourself. Don't expect others to. You are doing this for yourself first and foremost. Otherwise forget it. You wont make it.
It is easy to slip and slack when you are so close to your goal. But you know what? You can make it. So you ate and splurge the oast few days. Tomorrow, stop.
Throw the snacks away. Clean up your cabinets. Go out jogging. Do some shopping. Take some activity. I want you to be out there and breathe the fresh air. And start taking charge of your own mind and body :)
Excellent post, sweet tart. (and I'm not religiously inclined, but) Amen.
I totally understand you. Its normal to feel that way when you eat unhealthy. When I do it I get lazy sleepy and stressed. I juess what im sayin is drag your butt out of this. Dont do it to yourself. Drink lots of water and get your body in moshin.lol Trust me you will feel better. Take care dont be sad!!!!
One or two snacks are fine, but please, don't eat too much of them! I used to love snacks, like you, which is probably why I'm here :(.
Well, if you love food, you can look around the recipes section, I'm sure they have delicious yet healthy recipes there!
Remember to get up from your chair and exercise, or just go take a stroll.
Remember, you have a goal to achieve, and you should think of your emotions and feelings once you've achieved this, that should be able to keep you going on.
Oh yes, one more thing, when you think of those sugary, junk snacks, you must not think of how delicious they taste. That's really important!!
Good luck getting to your goal.

I've been suffering with this problem too. I have huge stress loads at uni and sometimes food has been the comfort I think I need / deserve even though I know I'm damaging my body.  I have to be pretty strict wth myself - there are no chocolates or crisps in my house so I can't binge properly.  Keep sweet treats handy for when your blood sugars are low.  I use fresh / dried fruit, jelly, mini milks and stewed appled and plums topped with oats for pick me ups.  Try taking a walk, watching a movie, take a bath or go window shopping if you need cheering up.  Also don't beat yourself up when you fall off the healthy food wagon - you're only human and its part of the process.
I agree with sweet_tart, You need to take control! You are 100%responsible for everything that goes into your mouth. Clean out your kitchen of all the crap you shouldn't eat, Fill it up with the foods you should be eating so when you reach for food at least it is the good stuff.

DON"T GIVE UP!

You're worth it.

Think about what you want to be thin for. Think about all the wonderful things you can do thin that you don't even try heavy.
I also agrre with sweet tart and have suffered a few binges and felt like total crap. but you have to pull your self out of this!! I started with changing the types of snack I kept Like instead of all baked goods I have tons of fruit and 100 snacks in the house . Try to think the binge through  to how you will feel after  and make a smart decsision
That was me the other week, 2 days in a row, and when I got up the third morning, i had to fight myself ..because I wanted coco puffs..but i put them all back in the cereal box and started over the right way.  Then again in the evening I wanted chips , and even grabbed the bag, but by chance 80 % of them fell on the floor, and I th ought to myself...that that was some sort of sign, so I threw them out, had a tea and surfed the net.  I feel great, DIDNT cheat at all..Onlyl you can stop ur self as hard as it might be...youll feel better if you doo...stay busy
I, too, am stuck in a rut because I, too, ate way too much junk.  And it was done like several nights in a row, late at night.  All I did was gain weight (and yeah we are talking no more than 7 lbs.)

But this is what I do.  NO MORE DOWNWARD SPIRALS!!!  If this was a sport, you just psyched yourself out.  You can't play to win because you don't think you can win.  You just think about how you screwed up at one point.  JUST LET GO

Pretend you are a recovering adict and you only have the future to be hopeful about.  Decide that today you are going to only eat, say 1400 calories.  And they are going to be good ones too.  Whole grains, fruit, veggies, lean meat.  You feel that urge to break things?  Throw away the bad food (remeber when Miranda on SexITC poured soap on cake she had thorwn out?) and don't buy that stuff.  Invite yourself over to a friends.  Help her clean out a closet.

Also, what is wrong with your partner?  I assume we are talking about some vanity lbs?  Someone you are with should love you through thick and thin.  Literally.  I hope they do accept love and help you.

What i really hope is the unwanted feelings come from within.  When I feel big (like now) I don't feel sexy.  I feel gross and the thought of someone else touching all this junk is gross.  I keep in shape more for my benefit than for anyone elses.  Sorry about the SEX comment; just didn't know all that was going on.
anyone of us can get off track for a while.

however, if you do what's right it's not that much of a sacrafice really.  It should feel normal and good.

Poor food choices will only make you feel icky.

Most of all if you want change you will make change.
EEEEK, my eating habits have been spiralling downward, and are now out of control, worse than your 2000 calorie thingy!! You should have seen me last night, lol. But life will go on, and the extra 10 lbs I've put on in the past couple weeks (lol) will go away, with proper decisions.

before you put anything in your mouth, think to yourself "is this going to help me achieve my goals"

I do that with all my decisions, it helps me make better ones. I havent been asking myself that when I stuff my face as of late though lol.

but starting 30 minutes ago, Im fixing that. Im going to take all the food I binge on and put it in a little box and put it in my moms room haha. :]
I have bingeing problems as well.  I only buy my "trigger" foods in indivually portioned packages, bad for the environment, good for my body.  Now lately I was tending to binge even on those, but my kids ate them all and now I have nothing.  So I'll probably go back to ice cream bars as my treats because if I overeat on those I get sick so they're pretty safe.  But even when I binge on the indivicual packs it's a lot less total food than with a regular package.
Just becuase you mess up  once does not mean you just stop get up and lets try again I have messed up and I am going to stand up and do it again and this time I mean it also . We  have not come this far to not try no more I  know you can do this .Yes you can do this just forgive yourself and start over .....We are here for you .
gosh all you have to loose is 10lbs, if only i can say the same im going through what your going through and i have about 50lbs to loose, im a binge eater, there i said it, just remember tomorrow is a new day, and you have gotten this far you dont want to end up like me, so stop now before its later and harder
So, have you stop your binge yet?
The best thing I've found to prevent binging is (drum roll please?)

I use calorie-count's food log to "map out" all my meals for the day. Simple I know? but it makes me really think about what I?m putting in my body for the day! Once I've figured out what the calorie intake would be for what I feel like eating... I then go prepare my foods/pack my lunch/snack on whatever/etc... This makes me consciously (sometimes overly) aware of how much calories some of my daily ?favs? contain. Just a little trick I?ve been using to be successful!
