I've just discovered cantaloupe! Well, not technically. I haven't eaten cantaloupe since I was a young child and I'm now 32 years old. All I remembered about it was that I didn't much like it. I bought one today with hopes of getting my kids to eat some (I've been having issues getting my kids to eat fruits). I tried some and ended up nearly binging on it! I ended up eating 3.....yes, 3 cups of cut up cantaloupe. I'm full as a tick too! This is possibly the first time I've actually felt full in a month. It kind of feels good too. At any rate, those 3 cups only cost me 180 calories! Can you believe that?
I love the fact that I can find foods like that with little calories to fill up on that are actually healthy to eat.
You'll have to overlook me. I'm not much used to eating this healthy and it's really exciting!
Just a note, I was craving soft chocolate cookies and eating that cantaloupe has completely taken that craving away. (I bought the kids some cookies as a junk food treat. They get two treats like this a week) and just looking at the bag sitting on my counter top was driving me batty.
