hi all,
This is the first time I am posting a new thread. I have been following this eating schedule my trainer has given me. And it is working. It is keeping me in my calorie range and not hungry at all. amazing. But the problem I am having is he doesn't want me to eat any carbs at dinner or VERY low carbs. I have had lots of salads with chicken getting a bit sick of them. Does anyone have any receipies or ideas you can share? That would be great. Thanks.

any kind of fish, turkey, lowfat cheese, yogurt, egg whites. these are some ways to add protein without adding carbs.
You could mash up some cauliflower with a little milk and ff sour cream to simulate mashed potatoes and then have a lean turkey burger on a portobella mushroom cap. Kind of like a burger and mashed potatoes! Also very low in carbs. One of my favorite dinners is balsamic glazed chicken and vegetables. Balsamic itself has sugar carbs, around 4/tbsp, but with some extra virgin olive oil, a pan and some heat, it does wonders for chicken. Just add your favorite vegetables and cook them well with some evoo, add the chicken and the balsamic and watch it work. It's amazing. Hope these help!
i make omlets. tonight it was with shrimp, mushrooms, broccoli, tomatoes and hot sauce with some sour cream on the top. most of the time i mix in avocado slices but i was out tonight.
About all you can do is get different kinds of meat and fish so you won't get bored, and make plenty of low carb veggies like broccoli and spinach. There are endless combinations and seasonings you could try.
How bout a no crust baked quiche?

It's a good thing that's not true. There are endless ways to make use of seeds, nuts, and avocados. Try some of the recipes on goneraw.com. I made the "walnut taco meat" recipe the other day and it was super yummy!
You have other fun options too, like zucchini pasta, sushi made with a rice subsitute (like macadamia or pine nuts blended with cauliflower -- sounds weird but it definitely satisfies the chewy rice craving), things like that.
Raw vegan recipes are generally low or no-carb (unless they revolve around fruit), so that's a good option to look into. And feel free to cook any parts of these recipes you feel would be better cooked. I'm just trying to offer options that people tend to overlook, not push raw vegan propaganda. (I'm 95% raw, but definitely not vegan...)
