Carbohydrates come in all kinds of forms and are essential for good health because they provide most of your energy.  Fruit, together with foods like vegetables, wholegrains, wholemeal breads, brown rice, nuts and pulses/legumes are 'complex carbohydrates' which are extremely healthy, full of fibre and should form the bulk of your diet... 50 -60% of your daily calories.  Sugar and refined starch are 'simple carbohydrates' and should be enjoyed in much smaller amounts.  Just to confuse you... some fruits also contain naturally occurring 'simple carbohydrates'

Basically... enjoy a good range of natural foods and don't worry too much about 'carbs'

Thanx 4 clearing that up lol. It makes alot of sense now. I just googled it too, so now its a little clearer, thanx 4 ur help!!!!
