cardio vs. strength training
Which is better?
I heard that strength training is better because of the after burn, but which is best for weight loss?
I've been doing strength training a lot more than cardio, because I like it a lot better, I actually look forward to doing some strength training.
Will strength training still help me burn the fat if I do more of it than cardio?

Strength training. When you think about it, it is cardio. I mean, your heart rate speeds up when you do strength training.
Besides that, exercising your muscles helps to ensure that you aren't losing lean muscle mass when you lose weight, which means more of the weight you lose is fat. So that's really great. :D
You need both. I adore strength training. I love pushing myself and seeing the amount of weight lifted increase. I do cardio, but struggle with it. You do cardio for your circulation and your heart. I look at strengthtraining as molding my body, shaping it.
