Cardio and Weight Training Six Days a week!
If you take over a week or so off just to walk and let your body rest what type of conditioning do you lose if you have been going six days a week for over a year?
Resting for a week? That's really not long enough to lose much of any conditioning.
maybe lose a bit of the obsessiveness - thats healthy - as is giving you body a break. enjoy!
Many weight training programs support taking a week off every few months. While it only takes a few days for muscles to recover from strength training, other connective tissues take longer, as do bones. Some time off every now and then will allow the body 'catch up' and reduce the risk of injury.
You wouldnt lose anything i would imagine your body would feel great after a 7 day rest and you would be in better shape for it.
The times I've taken a week or so off, I came back stronger and/or faster. Weird, huh?
Awesome feedback.guess you have to try it to believe it!
Heading to Vegas next week sounds like a great week for some R&R.what the heck I have earned it.
I just wasn't sure if you were in the cardio routine if you would lose your wind.
