Don't "drink your calories"... Liquids pass through your system very quickly. The glycemic index of those fruit drinks is very high. You would be better off trying to eat the whole fruits and veges that are mentioned in the ingredients list. The only time I would say those types of drinks are a good idea is if for some reason you are unable to tolerate adequate solid foods or if you are trying to get in more calories easily for the purpose of weight gain.

If you want to drink juices you're better off juicing your own fruit or making your own smoothies.  The commercially available purees and juices that get blended together into drinks are often concentrated (for easy of transportation) or have sugar added to give them a shelf-life.

I agree with the above otherwise.  Eat fresh fruit and vegetables and drink juices in moderation.

From the looks of the ingredients, this is really a fruit smoothie that contains carrot, not a carrot smoothie that contains fruit.

I would say drinking a smoothie is fine now and then as a treat, but eating real fruits and veges will get you further most of the time. If you want to drink smoothies every day, have one as part of your breakfast meal and make it more sustaining by including milk or yoghurt and oatmeal.
