Recipe Ingredients for Carrot Cake

1/2 c cake flour
1/4 c cake flour
2 tbsp sugar
2 tsp sugar (NOTE: use 1/3 cup lite sugar instead)
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 tsp salt (optional)
1/2 c applesauce
1 egg white
1/2 c carrot, finely shredded
1/2 tsp vanilla
15 g walnuts, crushed

Recipe Directions for Carrot Cake

  1. mix dry ingredients in one bowl and make a well in the center then add remaining ingredients.

  2. mix well and put in 8 cupcakes. bake at 180C for 30-35 mins
