Catching up on missed calories

I was sick a few days last week and did not eat as much as usual on 2 - 4 days, I cannot remember exactly. I did still eat though, but it was more like 1300 - 1500 calories instead of the usual 1630 I need sedentary.  Now, a few days after eating normally again, I over ate about 600 calories today. It happens, no big deal. However, even AFTER I over ate the 600 calories,  I was a little hungry later on?    

Has any one else over eaten, and then STILL felt a tad hungry, in spite of the fact that they ALREADY ate more than their body needed? (according to the standard recommendations for calories that this website recommends for your status).

Has any one has experienced something similar, where you technically ate more than the calorie counter says you need, yet still felt hungry later that night? if so, was it after you were ill or were not able to eat as much as usual in the days prior?

It is odd because I did not under eat by that much when I was ill. Most people as sick as I was DO NOT eat as much as I did. I like eating and tried to whenever I could, so it is not as though I consumed SIGNIFICANTLY less than normal.  It was only about 200 - 500 calories MAXLIMUM on 2 - 3 days. However, I did not count so I could have over estimated how many calories I ate, and therefore thought I ate more than I really did which means I may indeed need to compensate.Even if I do need to compensate, does the body REALLY need to gain back every tiny bit of weight you may loose when ill?  I would not have lost more than ¼ of a pound, because I just did not under eat enough to lose significant weight. Could the fact that I am slim mean that my body needs to gain back lost weight more readily than people who are not as slim?
