Hey everyone, I need a CC buddy. Someone that I can be accountable to. I'm 22, living in Munich and I would like to lose about 20 lbs. My roomie and I decided that as motivation, we'd plan a trip to the Côte d'Azure for the end of May. And, if no one is familiar with that area, it's only where the HOTTEST of the Europeans vacay. I'm printing out a picture of the bathing suit i want to look good in, and I have what I call my "skinny" book. basically it's this mole-skin book where I cut out pictures of people I want to look like, stuff I would like to wear or people I would like to completely avoid ending up as. And of course, little hints, messages of how I feel etc.

Every thursday, I measure myself with a tape measure to track my progress as I've started working out again after 5 months :(

 Anyone interested??

no no, like a motivation buddy, i guess i should have posted this in the "motivation" section!

Hi I'm Carrie,

I think it would be great to have a motivation buddy! I am also going on a girls get away weekend...in Florida or Hawaii some time in either May or June. I would love to lose around 25 pounds by then. I actually started a forum for a bunch of us to lose 10 by Valentines day.....basically to get us moving over 5 weeks. To be honest I know that I will not loose 10 pounds by then, but maybe 5. I have recently just changed my diet up and my workout. Overall, I am trying to be as nutritious as I can, physically log what I eat, and workout between 3-6 days a week.

A bit about me:

I'm 27 and live in New Jersey. I tend to look smaller than I really am, most people may guess that I weigh around 160, where in truth I am 188, almost 30 pounds more that that. I basically want to get my weight down to around 165-170. I like to think I have a ton of muscle under there, which I do, but I also have the fat that I would like to come off.

Let me know what you think and if I fit the type of person you want to get motivation/give motivation to.

I know I tend to do better when I have someone to report to other than myself.

Hey Veronica (name tag),

You can try to keep up with someone 10yrs your senior (me).  I am a professional at losing weight!  Keeping it off is a different story.Cry  Since 2000 I have been as light as 170lbs and as heavy as 230lbs.  How is that for yo-yo-ing?!  The one constant through it all is that I never controlled my eating habits.  So that is what brought me here.  A way to track everything I put in my hungry mouth!  I found that if I work out, I stay thin...but as soon as I stop hitting the gym, I balloon right up!  Right now I sit at 203lbs.  I started tracking myself on Dec 30th and weighed in at 210lbs.  I have been down to 200lbs since then but as of this morning it was 203lbs so that is what I will claim.  The good news is that the trend is downward!  For the record, 170lbs has me looking like Skeletor (yes that is a He Man reference) so I am looking to be somewhere in the 190-195lbs range.  I have been heavier on the weights and lighter on the cardio which I think has caused my weight to level out some with a fat for muscle exchange.  Anywho, I have a library of exercises/techniques for variety and food choices you might like.  And the stuff I personally stay away from like the plague!  Any btw...I am super jealous you are living in Munich!!!

Phil
