Hi Delilah, I'm Samiw. I think that is my name on my page or it's samiwood. It has been almost one week for me on CC. I started really trying to loose baby weight since the begining of March. It sound weird because my youngest is 3. But I have had two misscarriages in the past year and a half. Depressing! I hope to get myself back and mabey create some new friendships. I know I'm only 25 but I am more mature than most 40 year old people. I've lived a long life in 25 years.  I ramble on a lot. Sorry about that. I talk to little kids all day. I hope to hear from you and read about your journey through CC.  Sam

Good luck to all!!!  Sami wood

Hi Sam,

Nice to hear from you.  Sorry to hear about the two miscarriages.  I have found it is very hard to focus on being healthy when I am depressed.  I think taking care of yourself is one of the best way to bring yourself out of depression.  Sounds like you are off to a good start.  Running after those two kids ought to burn some calories!  I have never heard of the Solo Slim Pill.  I hope it works for you.  Have you ever heard of Hoodia?  I am using the Hoodia Patch.  I do think it is helping keep by cravings in control.  I was thrilled to see 4 lbs less on the scale today - in one week!  I don't know if I will be lucky enough to get rid of 4 lbs every week and I don't know how much of it is water weight but it feels good to see it on the scale.  I also feel so much better.

I am not sure what happened to the message. It is a little funny looking. Oh yeah, I can't spell worth anything.  There is about a two and a half year period of my life I don't remember. I have never done drugs in my life.  But it is like I fried my brain. I my spelling skills went with it.  On a happier note it is so exciting when you get on the scale and you see more than one pound. The first week four pounds. Awesome!!  I have not really heard about the Hoodia patch. Just the name. What does it do? Solo slim is all natural. No chemicals. It helps cravings also. It also has decaffeinated green tea. Solo slim only has 6 ingredients in it.  You can google Solo slim it will tell you every thing. I google everything. My mom works in a doctors office and, her doctor would have told us not to take it.  You'll have to tell me all about the Hoodia Patch. Everone has their own side effects. The only thing that I have from SS is dry mouth.   I usually chew gum.  It works for me.  Sorry I ramble all the time.  Hope to hear back soon. It is so nice to talk to an adult. I do have a husband and he is nice to talk to too, but he's a man. He has been a great support.  I have so many stories. I'll have to write in another email.  I can go on and on.  Write back soon.  Sam

I will look up Solo Slim.  On the box for Hoodia it describes it as "Hoodia Gordonii, a leafless, spiky succulent plant that grows wild in the Kalahari Desert of South Africa".  It looks like in the list of ingredients it is mostly the Hoodia extract, green tea, niacin and a small amount of a chemical that I don't know.  For my regular annual check ups I see a nurse practitioner.  I really like her.  For the past couple of years I had noticed the Hoodia in her office.  She told me she has had a number of patients try it and they seem to have good results.  I had been sort of trying to lose weight this last year and would find that I could do all right for a few days and then I would be terribly hungry and I would blow it.  I have been watching how much protein and fat I intake since she told me I should have 44 grams of protein and 40 grams of fat every day.  This seems to also be helping.  I have made it 8 days without going food crazy so I look at that as my first hurdle accomplished.  Whether it is the proper amount of grams or the Hoodia or both together I can't say for sure.

As far as having a great memory or not I think the first years after I had my kids were very hard.  Sleep deprivation especially effects your memory, your ability to focus and I just read recently that lack of sleep can contribute to weight gain!

Don't worry, in my experience it is worth it and it gets better!

Thanks for the info about the grams of protein and fat. I never knew how many to have. I have never been able to sleep. My kids slept through the night at 2 or 3 weeks, so I can't blame them. They are great. I had a pretty tramadic child-hood. I think that had a lot to do with it.  My other problem was not having time to eat. I would go from 6 to 12 hours without food. I never had time we were so busy.  Now I make my self eat at the same time every morning. No matter what.  I have really low blood sugar. It is about 52 before I eat and about 78 after I eat a huge meal. I know that would cause some weight loss issues.  There are so many factors that can be involved. But now life feels right.  I tried to loose weight with out any diet pills or advise. Some times people just need a little boost. It sound like you are on the right path. I exercised regularly, for eight weeks I ran 4 miles a day.  I only lost 4 lbs. It sucked.  Now I exercise 3 to 4 times a week for only one half hour. This exercise is like doing four in one. So you burn four times more calories. I started it because it was something new. Now I love it. You get to jump, kick, punch, and dance. It is so much fun. It is a Turbo Jam called Fat Blaster.  It's only 30 minutes long. My kids love it too.(not that they need exercise they are 3 an 6) I know this is long so I'll stop until next time. Sam

Hi Sam,

I haven't heard from you.  I have had a cold and I haven't been online much.  I just go to work and come home and get in bed.  I can't wait to be able to breath again!

I hope all is well.
