Since my highest at 235, I've lost 69 lbs. I've slowly been losing weight over the past 6 years. I wont be finished until I reach my goal of 128 (or until I'm satisfied with weight + muscle tone). I had a major lifestyle change by moving to college and ending a sedentary lifestyle! Then I became a vegetarian, and now I will encorporate more activity and weight training to build my future athletic body! whee! :D
Well i'm a 14 year old female..started feeling sick of how embarassed i was about my body. I only started my diet last Saturday. At that time i was 152 lbs.

how long did it take? I've been working out since January and eating healthy as well.
how long have you kept it off? Well 4 months (the weight I've lost so far) but I'm still losing.
what approach did you use? Well I count calories...but I also use slim fast. Not the diet they suggest per-se, but I drink one for breakfast ALWAYS and most of the time for lunch. I pretty much eat all day long haha. I make chicken with broccoli for dinner and have 48 pretzel sticks for a yummy snack. I eat LOTS of fruit, too. You guys should try frozen purple grapes....YUM. I totally didn't think they'd be good, but they really are! But make sure you freeze GOOD grapes, otherwise they taste sour.

I've lost about 40 pounds.
With the help of this site, this is my 1st time being successful with any weight loss although I've had a slight repeat during this process.
Almost finished...under 10 lbs to go.
It took about 4 months to lose the bulk of the weight and much longer to get the last few off.
I've kept most of the weight off for over a year now. I did gain some back over the winter and holiday months but am back on track now.
This Calorie Count site has taught me invaluable information about diet and health...and is the approach I continue to use and learn.
