I was wondering how accurate the Target Weight box is. I have been keeping track for about two weeks. My calorie consumption is between 1200-1500 per day with a workout 4-5 each week. I have noticed the date at which my target weight will be reached has gained two days. I shouldn't be gaining days when I have been eating right and working out, right?
I would appreciate any feedback. Thanks!
As far as I know, your target date reacts to your weight log entries, so if you haven't logged a weight loss, your target date will stretch into the future. You didn't mention if you had lost any weight...
Oh, that makes sense. My inlaws are here for the week, so I put away the scale until they are gone (we have a small house so it is tucked away). So, I will do that part of it and hopefully the date will start to go backwards. Thanks!
I log my weight 4 times a week. I had previously set a goal date of sept 28th (170) (started on apr 28th (220)) 5 months exact to lose 50 pounds. Cause I wanted to do it at 10 pounds a month. The Thumb told me I would not reach my goal until November 15th when I mad emy first entry.
Since I've been logging my weight on a regular basis the date keeps coming down and now yesterday it go to September 28th. But I'm early as I only have 1.7 pounds to go for my 50 pound goal. (actually started at 235 pounds in Jan. and ultimate goal is 160 pounds)
So I wouldn't take the thumb too seriously. Just use it has a reference.
