Weight Gain What is the best time of day to weigh yourself? Aug 08 2008

yeah.. i had the same thing... im trying to actually put on weight in the correct way which didnt happen yday as i was at a bbq and party and food is there so i have to just eat it until its gone kind of thing....

we dnt have scales in my house... for simple reasons, but mybest friends does so when i went to her loo, i weighed myself when i arrived, after stuffing my face, worried ihad put on weight, stupidly i know now i weighed myself and it said i had put on 4 pounds, in the space of 1 hour.... i know its difficult to ignore, well for me it is, but seriously the best time of day is when you wake up after the loo, before eating or drinking, but you always have to do this, other wise it will seem like you have put on weight when you havent etc.... vise versa.... hope it helps :)

Motivation Please remind me why I shouldn't pick up a package of cinnamon rolls. Aug 07 2008

ive heard that setting yourself a target can help with binge eating... e.g. dont be negative about it...

firstly maybe (these are just suggestions) perhaps, say if i eat that then i cant fit into that dress... dont tell yourself you cant have it... cos i do that and end up wanting it more...

secondly.... if u do want one... just have the one... from the counter where you select it.... dont buy a packet that has more than one in it...

i dont know... im not expert but it may help... good luck x

hi,

ok i dont know if i can help.... not qualified and only 18... but i am trying to put on weight... went from a very pretty weight of 8 stone to 5 stone 7pounds... due to not eating properly for a period of time... however.... eat properly now eg not scared to eat... as eg i went to pizza express yesterday and had a 3 course meal... however.... to answer you question about whether too much peanut butter or something like it is unhealthy..... it wont be for you.... that is definate... or even someone like me.... especially if it could be your only way to lose less weight or eventually put some on... and remember peanut butter is very healthy anyway... particularly for your bones... anyway....

try maybe having all your liquidised veggies as well as EXTREMELY high amounts of the what you call 'unhealthier' products....

it will take time i have learnt to notice a difference... if you continue to lose... just keep drinking and drinking and as much as you can take of the high calorie products...

hope it helps a little.... even if it means you know someone is thinking and praying for you... x
