to each its own.. i plan to stick with my diet up until thanksgiving day.. have a light breakfast and wait til dinner.. eat all i want to and start again tomorrow..

congrats on quitting smoking.. its a good thing that you started at the gym.. i gained weight after i quit... im not sure about rather you should lift the weights or not.. just go with how you body feels.. if you think you can  handle it then go for it

ugh.. i hate green beans carrole.. other than that i love it... love the sea food salad and corn and turkey and potatoe salad and greens and baked macaroni  and cheese ex ex.. i love it all lol.. we've never had mashed potatoes or stuff like that...

WHEN i reach my goal weight I'm going to get my hair cut off!!!! and grow dreds.. even if i dont do the dreds im going to get a short hair cut.. and buy tons of outfits, and even go to the thrift store to get some

so true dkc... i think that if it becomes a habit than u wont stick with that... with me, i get up in the morning and i work out before work.. im trying to make it apart of my regular day.... like part of my schedule.... i use those "walking away the pounds" video.. my mom has lost alot of weight using them.. she even adds leg weights to them.. but anyways... on thursdays i go to the gym and hit the tred mill ( well at least i did today).....    the 10,000 steps a day is a good idea.. i need to start using my pedometer!!!

well i guess some people on here would know better than i would.... so do what you feel is right for you.. if 2500 cals is alot and u dont meet it every day then i wouldnt worry to much about it.. my friend lost 120 lbs in a year and she had a certain amount of cals that she would eat during the day.. she didnt screw around or stress about calorie or starvation mode and has kept it off for a while...  i know that to keep ur body out of starvation mode u have to eat a certain amount for cals.. but im 300 plus lbs so my body isnt going to go into starvation mode after a week of 1000 cals deficit.. or maybe it will who knows... what do i kno

well i never follow that thing.. it says im suppose to eat 2400 a day but thats like.. way to much... if ur exercising yes... eat a littlemore then ur 1600... I can see if you were like 140 or something, then i would stick to what the thing says.. that way u wont undereat.. but if ur overweight and inactive then nahh i wouldnt eat 2300 cals.. i think ur 1630 is good... but thats jus my opinion

I've seen it and no its not as scary as people say.. I mean.. its made to look like its a true story.. because the couple gets a cam. to document the activity thats going on in their house, at night when they are asleep.. IF its TRUE then yes is creepy and weird as hell, but IT its UNTRUE its just a regular creepy movie.. if that makes sense...anyways, i must admit that it did have me sleeping with my lights on for a few nights.

well it sounds to me that u kno what your problems are.. at least that half of the battle.. now all you have to to is change..and screw what people think about you being on a diet.. you need to worry and focus and get healthy for YOU.. not THEM

I am Bipolar and i can only imagin how hard it is for my love ones to have to deal with some of the things i go through (exspecially my childs father) You have a right to get tired, to be fed up.. Dont feel guilty, you have to take care of you first!!!

i dont have to read the link to get the idea of what the article meant... its like... whats the point of exercising if ur eating tons of cals.. cal restriction and exercise will cause u to lose weight but not exercise alone

i make 2 pieces of wheat toast... put some cheese and the egg on it and make a egg sandwhich.... or u can use the toast, jelly adn the egg.. i think its good

i would say something to her.. not sure what though... when i first started this guy was like.. "i see u in here often, keep up the good work"  then told me about how it was when he started out and how much he's lost...  it helped me to keep motivated for a minute... maybe offer to be her workout buddy or something?  b like.. im in need of a workout partner..  or something like that... i dont kno... but i kno its hard to be the "fat girl" at a gym.. ya kno.. u may just encourage her

i think as long as ur consuming ur daily cals a day it doesnt really matter when or how ur getting them..  for example.. i am a night eater.. so i dont eat alot during the day so i have those extra cals to eat during the night
