True i actually shy away from most artificial sweetners i dont use splenda or anything and i dont drink died drinks. I agree its not the best but when im craving jiggley goodness that stuff hits the spot. So ya not the healthiest but no ones perfect.

I miss egg mcmuffins so  this was great.  i went grocery shopping today got egg white, laughing cow swiss cheese, english muffins and turkey bacon gonna try it for breakfeast tomarrow. with 1/4 cup egg 30 cals 2 slices of bacon 50 cals 1 triangle of cheese 50 cals and english muffin 130cals it comes out to 260 calories.

Man reading this thread was a bad idea this is not good for my self control im a glutton for rich and decadent things the richer the better.

Ive always been the fat friend all my life. Ironically I have always been fairly active as well just didnt really watch what i ate and was inconsistent. Needless to say i hated being that guy. I always had weight loss in the back of my mind and would try and fail all the time. The few months before i started calorie counting I was on a mission to lose weight I started around June i belive just after i graduated and had alot of free time on my hands. I know i was about 265 then. I was severly overweight in my opinion and my biggest fear was reaching 300lbs. From june-august (when i started calorie counting). I lost about 15lbs with out cc+. After i started cc+ and trying to maintain about a 1k+ sometimes a lil more. The initial weight began to shed like you woudnt belive. I beleive in the month of september i dropped 18lbs in a month. The Monthly totals were pretty high at first and i kept a good 10lb a month average for several months. I think when you have a lot of fat to lose you can lose it more rapidly then when you are reaching more normal levals. Things are much slower now. I still have a good pace but its definitly less then 2 lbs a week.

I do weigh my food. Hubbard squash 215grams has different caloric value for baked and boiled and one has fiber and the other doesnt according to cc -.- not a big deal i know its good for me just frustrating im a stickler.

My CC was just a guestimate i didnt hav the luxury of weighing my food like i usually do. I just cant not count my calories even if i know im going to be demolishing my average. Honestly I use it as motivation to get bigger deficits for the next week and work out that much harder.

Gosh today was soo immensely bad when it comes to controll. mentally im fine i know ill be back on track even if it sets me back a couple lbs. Its unfortunate i have a ton of family in town so we are staying up late playing games and just had a little round 2 Needless to say im up to close 2 6k now  ; (

Something else I make that is really good is spaghetti squash with fried cabbage. You peal the squash and microwave it in a steamer bag until done.

Boil savoy or regular cabbage until tender. Then sauté garlic and onion in a frying pan with 0 calorie olive oil cooking spray add the cabbage and some onion and garlic powder. Fry until golden brown. Mix with the spaghetti squash. It is really good.

i do that all  the time, sometimes i skip the cabbage and just throw a few ounces if spinich in with my onions and garlics and put some chicken broth to help cook the spinach down.

I cheat all the time. However i still stay below my calorie count is the key for me. I personally shoot for 2000 usully i have around 1800 but 2-3 times a week ill have a sweet and i will be just under 2000 and im okay with that just gotta adjust other meals accordingly if you want to be a little bit naugty.

YOu all are crazy 90% of the foods you guys hate are my favorites!!

lets see 3 I wont eat

1 -Goat milk chese/blue cheese

2- brains or head of anything

3- oysters/mucsles/slugs/snails/human (excluding baby)

 

*also insects and reptiles and amhibians i guess are a no no

other then that i love olives, onions, meats, espesially lamb, i love almost anything pickled. Ill eat liver if cooked right, i adore eggplant... i love seafood. I love food

 cool are you doing any special kind of diets. Even though i am on a "diet" its really more of a lifestyle i guess. i do eat what i want but i want to eat healthy. i generally stay away from starchy carbs bread/rice/potatoes but still get a ton of carbs from veggies other then that just load up on protien as much as i can and try im trying to stay low fat.

A bit late to the party but im totally looking to lose alot of weight about 60 more lbs from now. I am 25 and i have already lost 20lbs be4 i found CC. Today is my first day and its really motivatiing im addicted to the gym and try and eat as clean as i can although food is my weakness. im about 5.65 ft tall and i started at to 268 last summer. I was working out hard core but not watching what i ate and had no portion control. i lost 20lbs over about 4 months. Then i fell apart and gained it all back. I just started again in june im now im back down to 247 and going strong with portion control and healthy eating coupled with a cardio and weight lifting routine. Anyway i would love to talk to you guys and hear some success stories and just support anyway i can its a tough road, but im really motivated and look forward to hearing from you guys.
