I didn't make my August goal for 1000 but I started in the middle of the month and fill in the blank for other various excuses. :) I'm raising my goal this time since I am starting fresh for September.

Playing catch-up from just starting yesterday is going to be hard!

Fitness Hula hoop?? Aug 12 2008

I started with a big hoop a few months ago (around 42" I think) and have worked my way down to about a 36". I make sure to incorporate my arms and legs too, so it's a full body workout. Plus, it's more fun when you start doing tricks. :)


My new favorite hobby is blasting some music with a good beat and hooping/dancing in front of the mirror in my living room.

8. Favorite movie? So many...the Lost Boys...my latest favorite is Inside...I love horror and gore. And the occasional tear-jerker too, haha.
9. Hobbies? Playing guitar, writing lyrics, watching movies (go Netflix!), hulahooping, making hula hoops.

11. Favorite Beverage? Alcohol: Grolsch beer, Non: Gingerale
12. Biggest Obstacle to Getting Healthy? I love beer. And food. A lot. Plus I'm still cooking my good ol' southern fried food for my bf while I grill/boil/bake my own.
13. Weight/Fitness Goal? Currently around 125, goal is 105-110 (I'm short and small-framed). Oooh, and I want to be a professional hula hoop dancer...I've been hooping for a few months now. This site should really help me!
