I normally want to be by myself. So - I like to sit outside or either drive around in my car with the music REALLY loud.

I did the same thing! I sprained my ankle so bad that I couldnt even bear weight on it at all! I was on crutches for over a month, all while trying to lose weight! I then had to go around an extra month with one of those rubber boots on! (My foot is still not the same and it has been over 6months!) Anyways, I gained a total of 7lbs, temporarily. I recommend to be VERY careful about what you eat during this period of time! You arent getting around like normal and burning your normal calorie expidenture, so food will tend to "stick" to ya. It felt good to just be able to relax though, dont push yourself too quickly! If it makes you feel any better, I lost 5lbs of the 7 within 2 weeks without any extra effort. Good luck and happy healing! I know its not any fun!

Just wanted to add, I went to the grocery store last night. I bought lots of GOOD foods compaired to last week when I ate pizza, donuts, mcdonalds, AND cookies! Surprise, surprise that I did not GAIN! Very bad choices, but hey Im being accountable! So, NOW for breakfast Im trying Post Shredded Wheats with Strawberries with skim milk or Yoplait Thick'n'Creamy 100 calorie yogurt cup. Then for a snack (because I am never home the majority of the day and I dont eat while Im gone hence my late night eating) I picked up a box of South Beach Granola Clusters (Mixed Berry) to help kick my metabolism, one word for them - BLECK! I tried one in the car on the way home because again I didnt eat during yesterday - theyre disgusting! Cry Very difficult to chew/crunch and NO taste, not even from the fruit! Anything new you all are trying out?

I feel for you. I have a son that has mild cerebral palsy and also sensory integration disorder. He is 3 years old and he too appears "normal" and Im sure is easily stereo-typed as "just being a spoiled brat". We deal with those type of people a lot and everywhere - you know the type that conveniently forget the days their children "disturbed" everyone! During one of those "meltdowns" our patience is being tested enough, you think that would be a warning sign! It has been over a year since my son was diagnosed. I have almost had to train myself to not look around to see if anyone notices my sons behavior. I almost always before was searching for someone to say something or give a wrong look in our way. It was a stage of "acceptance" for me. I felt good when I lashed out on someone, weird I know but it passed, thankfully! Embarassed
