1200 seems really low to me, but then again i am half a foot taller than you.

I think that amount seems ok, depending on your activity. if i were you though, i wouldnt dive right into 1200 calories a day. i would maybe drop 100 calories from what you have been regularly eating and as your body gets comfortable with it, progresively lower it to 1200. hope that helped!

hey all :) just getting on, and i swear this trip is going to be the death of me!!! (or someone....) haha

wow! amazing progress! heres my stats

Now: 151.8

Loss of 1.2! Which is good for me for now!

 

Also, just something I noticed, I know friends sometimes get their monthly around the same time, but ladies i am in that group of you who have it right now! Its so weird! But I kind of am intrigued by it?! Odd I know...

My mistake, oakmommy. I probably should have messaged and told you.

On Monday I weighed in at 153 pounds. Im very happy about this! I've kind of been stuck at 155 for a few weeks now. I do hope that this group can get me through halloween, yikkkes! my family throws a party every year and as excited as i am, im dreading it.

Also, a heads up, I will be out of town next Monday too, but I think I will have access to the internet this time. Hopefully I will be able to sneak on here for the Monday weigh ins.

Hope everyones making progress! And saraap, hang in there! Weight loss comes in small steps, which is unfortunate for all of us! The fact that you exercised when you really didnt want to shows a lot about your state of mind! Keep up the great work!

Hey guys! I just got back from the LONGEST week of my life. I had to go to Michigan for work and it was cold and stressful and I'm just glad to be home. Oh how I love the East Coast :)


Im proud to report that I was good ALL week. And on a trip, aswell! I have to admit though, I am a little obsessed with the Taco Bell Fresco Menu, who knew?! I didnt get any exercising in though, time just didnt allow (yeah we've all used that excuse before). Tomorrow my friend and I are going to our first kickboxing class and Im extremely nervous of making a fool out of myself but Im REALLY excited. I hear it works wonders on your muscle tonage :)

I know where you're coming from! When I'm stressed all I want is some good ol' comfort food. I don't quite now how to help, but I wanted you to know you aren't alone.

When I'm stressed I usually take a long hot bubble bath. I swear by it. It is a HUGE destresser and you won't be eating while you're in there. I take at least one a week. Also try to take a power nap or go for a walk. Hope I helped

Why?: Im loosing this weight to feel better about myself. I have my good weeks and bad weeks, but by mid-october, its all downhill. The pre-halloween parties to the post-new years are my "dark days". I need this support group

How?:  I was that chunk trying to trade you for your snack pack in elementary school. But i never grew out of this "baby fat" like everyone said i would and so I joined CC and I'm so close i can taste it (bad choice of words). I need buddies to get my through this.

History?: Lots of failing attempts and giving up. But over the past months I've had a break through and I'm in it for real this time.

 

Honestly, this group is a great idea. Holidays are not to be spent alone, and neither is holiday dieting :)
