You have to take the pill everyday or it is not effective plain and simple. Even if you double up the next day your chances of getting pregnant is still high. That is why I hate the pill. I was so paranoid I would forget to take it and it sucks because you have to take it at the same time everyday. Take a test and if it reads negative still make a appointment to the doctors to be 100 % positive. I know alot of friends who have had a negative test result but ended up being preggers.:-) Congrats if you are!! How exciting.

I am having the same problem too. This is only week 2 for me and week 1 started out great but now that i'm working out longer I'm feeling so drained during and after my exercise.I figure I was not eating enough calories daily.So I plan to increase my cal intake just a lil bit and see how that goes. I was even thinking about drinking a soy protein again since that gave me energy before when I worked out. Keep in touch and let me know if you resolve your issue. I'll also let you know if my energy changes in result of my increase cal intake.:-)

I'm a caffeine addict so I'll drink a couple of  cups of coffee before my 2 hour workout and I feel fine but my body is immune to caffeine. If I were you I wouldn't start drinking caffeine. I wish I can be caffeine free but here's wishing.lol.I'm still exhausted during and after my exercise routine so I personallhy don't fill a real difference with or without caffeine when I do my exercises. And since your feeling not so great after consuming caffeine and then exercising then I don't think you should continue in that path. Just continue with your normal routine.

IDK I don't have a problem with telling people no but since you do you already know what your gonna do.lol. Which is not a bad thing don't get me wrong. I don't think it will be so bad. This will be a new challenge for yourself and you have had fun before so I'm sure this will be fun too. New experiences are always fun.Good luck and I know you'll do just fine. Just be optimistic about it and your day will turn out just fine.:-)

lol.I just noticed that it got canceled.That sucks!!! Next time be strong on what run you want to do and don't let people convince you otherwise. You have to stand up for yourself and if it seems rude or mean then o'well.You can't please everyone.

Hello everyone. I have been doing pretty good on my food intake sticking to 1200-1300 cals. I notice I'm waking up hungry everyday. Been keeping up with my exercises though I have to admit that it is tough exercising 6  times a week straight. I'm tired.:-( Today I'm not sure what I am going to eat it. Goodluck everyone today!!

Your calorie intake all depends on your activity level, height, weight and gender. You can figure that out on CC in tools- calorie target. I'm 5'8 and 186lbs and I work out everyday and I'm required to eat 1200-1500 calories a day to reach my goal in the end of Dec. Again it all depends on the person. I know that a women is not suppose to eat under 1200 cals a day and for a male nothing under 1500 cals a day. Good luck with your weight loss

Hello everyone.I'm so sore today.I started phase 2 for my exercise routine. I did a 50 min cardio work out that hit every part of my body, burned 500 cals, 30 min cadio express work out burned 300 cals, 12 min ab routine, 15 min stetch routine.I'm beat and this was yesterday!!! In about an hour I will do this all over again. I can do it, I can do it.Looks like everyone is doing pretty good.Good Job everyone!!!

Breakfast- cereal with soy milk-160 cals and banana-110= 270 cals

That all I have had so far I'm planning to have subway for dinner and maybe a light snadwich for lunch??? Not sure yet will report later today:-)

I think it is a good idea to put cals on our food because I get stumped on what fullfilling foods I can eat without going over my cals for the day.

I think you look great in your pic.I would not think you weighed 160 at all.Your bf's ex is clearly jealous and had to use something to pick at. All girls are insecure about their weight even if they are toothpicks so a jealous girl will always pick on another girls weight regardless if they are fat or not. I would just use her comment as a motivator.Seems to be working so far. Don't stress that your fat because you are clearly not and when you lose more weight just think how even greater you will look and make your bf ex even more jealous.lmao.

Hello everyone,I'm so exhausted today.I did very well yesterday I started off with ;

Breakfast-1 cup of cheerios 110 cal,1/2 soy milk 50 cal and a banana 110cal=270cals

lunch- twai fish and avacado salsa- 200cal

dinner- small bread bowl soup and clam chowder and veggies-595cals

snack-light mocha frappacinno from starbucks -150 cal

total cals 1195 cals

I did so good but ended up going out last night and having a strawberry daiquri.I have no clue the cals on that.lol

-I can totally tell a difference on my stomach.'he exercising is melting this fat off.I m so excited and this is only week 1.Can"t wait for all my extra weight to melt off. My pants were fitting better last night.I even lost inches around my calves because my skinny jeans were looser.lol.

Water never dry-Dang you must be a very active person to be burning that much cals a day.I bet your losing weight like crazy huh? How much cals do you consume daily??

Imcoolsoni- Its okay to go over a couple of cals during the week I find that it actually helps jump start my metabolism because if I stay at 1200 cals everyday I hit a plateau.So your good, you only went over a few 100 cals not gonna hurt you:-) I went over last night too.lol.I ended up making a banana bread and some homemade honey bread.I took lil bites from each but I know that added up. I can't help it I love bread!!! I'm planning to make mini bread bowls and put some creamy potato soup in them and have a side salad for dinner today. I'm not sure what the calories will be but I'm for sure going to eat light the whole day because I know bread has alot of cals in them. I feel so good today its so crazy how exercise and eating well really changes your body. I have so much more energy its crazy.I could not even sit still yesterday. I constantly had to keep doing something,I had all this energy hence all the baking I did yesterday.

Welcome brimmyhop- I dont know how you weigh yourself everyday.I hated weighing myself wekkly.I get easily discourage when I see I only lost a 1lb after I worked my ass off and ate so well. So my plan this time around is to wait until after my 6 week program exercise regimen is up. I want to keep my motivation up and weighing myself weekly is not going to cut it. I totally understand that you had no time to do the slim in 6.Thats why I waited until summer where I would have more time to concentrate on my diet. It is time consuming.I'm exercising almost two hours a day .I literally wake up do 1 video take a break and eat breakfast then do the the second video.I then clean the house make dinner and it is already 4pm.My day is already over.lol.

Saucyminx70- welcome:-) I need to lose 50 lbs too,You havent seen any results yet from the slim in 6?Oh no, what exactly is your exercise regimen and eating habits for the week. Ex. how much cals do you eat daily and how long are you exercising each day,are you doing your exercises 6 days out of the week and advancing to the next levels on the video? We need to get to the bottom of this because slim in 6 I'm sweating my ass off and every mucsle hurts in my body so I know I'm buring alot of calories. I better be burning calories!!lol.

Samantha81- When I first started cc I lost 15lbs in 2 months but unfortunately gained it all back plus some.But while I was on my diet I noticed that eating a cheat meal of whatever you want on sat and sun really helped me with my cravings. It can only be 1 meal though for each day.I was losing 2lbs a week doing this still. I ended up gaining back my weight because school started again and didn't have time to exercise or cook at home.I fell back into my old habits Yeah I know excuses excuses but I'm back again determined to lose my weight and keep it off.Its all a learning process and it is easy to give up and fall back into old habits but just got to get right back up and focus and continue exercising and eating right. :-) Good luck!

Imcoolsoni- Hello I'm 26, 5'8, 186 lbs, GW 132. Yeah I was hesitant at first only because the sim in 6 was 78 dollars but I was still sold. Ditch the diet pills they will only work for so  long. I have spent so much money on pills,work out video,exercise equipment but I don't know what it was but the slim in 6 just seemed so much different and made sense. OMG how sore I have been after working out.Like my whole body is sore it is crazy. I have never felt my abs feel this sore.I feel great though. Today will be day 4 and I am feeling amazing already. My soreness is subsiding and I sweat my butt off doing my execises. I'm really enjoying this program I was so bored doing the treadmill and stationary bike. 

 I love chipotle too until I found out that the burrito I always would get was way over 1000 calories.:-(. I'm craving sushi so bad.lol.Mmmm the eel roll sounds amazing.

rntkcrawform-OMG so there is hope for me? You said you started at 180 and got down to 138 thats fantastic how did you lose your weight?? I know how easy it is to gain weight,I'm like a yoyo.I use to be 128 lbs then I went to 158 than back to 139 then 167and now I'm big as ever at 186 my highest weight.I need all the help I can get I need to get down to the 130's.

-So I'm eating roughly 1200 cals a day and I'm still hungry at night.Night time is the time I get all my horrible cravings.:-( Does anyone have any suggestions on good low calorie foods that are fullfilling?

Hello, my name is Rebecca.I need to lose way more than 20 pounds but you have to start some where right? I have been gone for quite a while and have recently logged back into CC to try and lose my weight for good. I need a lot of motivation and I hope we can help each other out. I just started my new diet yesterday.I'm strictly counting my calories and exercising my butt off with a new exercise regimen I purchased.It is called slim in 6.It is guaranteed to help you lose weight in 6 weeks.With the crazy exercises they have me doing I'm pretty sure I will lose my weight.I'm consuming 1200-1400 calories a day.I plan to work out 6 days a week for 1 1/2 hrs. My exercising time will increase weekly as my exercising regimen gets more harder. I hope I can take it. Wish me luck!!

Yes ,I think we all have been there some point in our lives. I was there not too long ago actually. It is hard to keep eating right and exercising with all the temptations out there.I just have to keep telling myself do you want to get healthy or feel like crap all over again?I seriously was feeling really bad and my health was not looking so good either. This is my second time back on this website because I did fall back into my old bad habits. I have a commitment and that is to get back into shape ,to feel confident again, and look hot.lol. Most importantly is to get healthy again. It sucks but exercise and diet is the only thing that will make this happen. I have realized this and there's no turning back. :-) Just keep motivating yourself thats key, and just remember how great you feel when you do eat healthy and exercise,how much energy you have.

I'm so in.Yeah finals were hectic and I had no time to exercise and eat healthy.Fast food is the easiest when you have no time to cook due to studying and homework.

Painter.I totally have to agree with you on that.I avoided mirrors before I started my diet.I have lost about 15 pounds and I feel like there is no real difference even though I know my pants are fitting better . I just feel like I look huge plus I had taken pictures of myself on halloween and just got them developed and I look large and in charge.Its so depressing.I have stopped losing weight ,its my fault because I lost my motivation and stopped eating really healthy and counting my calories (I blame the holidays alil bit too).I haven't been exercising either because school got in the way and I have been getting over a stomach flu. Yeah I know they are excuses.I need my motivation back. I need Helpppppppp!!!

Yeah I was skeptical increasing my cals but it really does work and yeah weighing yourself weekly is the way to go otherwise your going to go bananas seeing a pound gained , a pound lost or 3 lbs gained. As long as your increasing your cals with healthy food you'll be good.I also found it to help a great deal to keep checking on CC as you lose weight how much cals you should be actually consuming daily.Great job and goodluck with your goal!!

Val I'm so sad I can't lose weight anymore.I lost my motivation.I need HELP!!!.ASAP!!!.I felt motivated yesterday but as the day went on I didn't feel like exercising and I started to snack on stuff I shouldn't have.What's wrong with me I was doing so good.Dang this sucks!!

Bobby-Well as you probably already read I didn't do so hot yesterday.I think I did kind of good on my calories, but I didn't record it, so I don't know how much i ate really.Plus I didn't exercise but that was only because I felt sick in the morning. I did do a lot of house work, so I'm sure I burned some cals there. I have a problem with exersing only, because I like to do it in the morning and if I can't I tell myself just do it when you get home.Well I usually come home late, eat dinner and then my body wants to wind down and rest, so I have lost all motivation to exercise for that day.It sucks. Exercises at home? I was doing sit ups, crunches on one of those big inflatable balls and leg exercises.They sell them at target for like 10 bucks and it comes with a booklet that shows all these exercises you could do and I'm telling you ,you feel the burn.lol.I also have a medicine ball that I use for arm exercises and do crunches with as well as lunges.I also go by this exercising magazine I got at borders bookstore that shows  different exercises you could do again with the medicine ball and air ball.So I would go buy an exercising book and go by a regimen in there you feel that is right for you. I also have a weight lifting machine I do for my arms and legs.God with all the equipment I have you would think I would get motivated.lol.Geez louise. Well good luck today.Oh I also would eat a cheat meal (only one) on the weekends.I use to do it both sat and sun but felt guilty so just did it on sat.That would really help me with my crazy cravings.Doing this and exercising 5x times a day would have me lose an avg of 2lbs a week. okay later everyone and goodluck this weekend!!!

Bobby- Cool I need the motivation again. I say we start a whole brand new day today and count our calories religiously and exercise. I am suppose to be eating 1500 calories a day.I'm going to start logging in my calories again on my computer. I think that's what also messed me up on not losing weight.I think I can count the calories in my head and a lot of the foods I'm eating are probably way more in calories than I thought.I think I did pretty good yesterday.I had a turkey sandwich with baked lays chips for lunch and for dinner I had subway with a soup.It was freezing yesterday.Burrrr. I'm starting to do my bad habit of skipping breakfast and thats a big no no. I'm starving now and its only 8:40am.Its because I ate so late last night due to my  class ending at 8pm. I also had to go to the library and thats like a mile away from my class(very big campus) and I live far so by the time I got home it was 10pm. I try not to eat so late because I tend to just fall asleep right after. My original exercising routine was 30 mins on the stationary bike and 30 mins on the treadmill five times a week.So I'm going to get on track with that today. I'll report back tomorrow and let you know if I succeeded in counting my calories accurately and if I exercised my butt off.lol. Talk to ya soon:-)

I'm still here Val.Oh my god I have not lost any weight and its been almost a month.I guess I only have myself to blame .I haven't been exercising really ike I use to and I haven't been strict with my calories like before but I am going to get my ass back on track.No more excuses. Freakin school is getting in the way.I wish it was still summer:-(

bobby- glad to see you have joined our group.How has your weight loss been?I'll be happy to just get down to the 140's.I'm sick of this fat around my gut and thighs.Seriously I just want to be skinny again already.Its driving me bananas.Sorry I am just so fustrated right now due to no weight loss in a month.So depressing.I hope you have better luck than me:-)

Iwish I didn't have much to lose but I have about 38 pounds to go to get to my goal weight of 132.I will be ahappy to get to 140 at least. Yeah I'm trying not to get discourage but it kinda is sneaking in. I'm going to count my calories real stricktly starting tomorrow. I won't be able to exercise until tuesday and I plan to do some diffedrent exercises I also heard that could help when you hit a plateau. Good job working out pretty cool you have a trainer to push you through those crazy exercises. Don't try to over do it while being sick, your body need to rest. have a great day everyone:-)

hey everyone, Oh my god welcome back elovinus great to hear from you.That sucks about your work blocking cc.Pretty cool you have a personal trainer.Good luck with that. Weight training is the best way to go when exercising ,Yaou lose much more weight that way than doing cardio only.

cosmogirl-I know how you feel being sick for two weeks and not being able to exercise .it really sucks.Thats really good you are maintaining your weight.Have fun on your vacation.I can't wait for halloween I'm going to san diego and going to one of those haunted tours they have there and going to visit a real haunted house(the whaley house).I'm very excited.I love halloween.

Thermal- Sorry to hear your sick too.I just got over my sickness.You said you have PCOS ,exactly what is that? I'm glad you found out what was wrong with you and are taking medication to help you out.Have fun on your running date tonight with hubby.

Ben -welcome ben your at a pretty good weight right now.I wish I was at 150. I know what you mean when your at a certain weight and you start to binge instead getting motivated and continue losing weight. I use to do that ll the time.I guess you could say it was like a award for me.lol.Good job on losing 15 pounds last year.I hope this group will motivate you and help you succeed on losing another 15 pounds this year as well.

Caitenkristen-Hello again,yes we all face the same challenges which makes this group so cool.lol.I just got over my sickness and I got use to not really exercising but I forced myself to exercise today.Its always hard for me to motivate myself but once I start exercising and especially after I'm finished I feel great. Just take some Zicam that cuts you sickness duration time in half.

 

Well I have bad news guys.I have not lost any weight for the past 2 weeks and its driving me babanas.I'm so trying not to get unmotivated.I noticed for the pass couple of days I have been wanting to cheat so bad on eating  because I haven't lost any weight.I have given in to some but no that much.I feel terrible, I should of lost 4 lbs and to lose nothing feels like crap. I;m trying to figure out what I did differently and the only thing is either my body finally realized that I'm not exercising 5 days a week anymore or because I'm not drinking my protein drink anymore.I don't know ,I need help guys .I think I finally hit a plateau:-(
