But I do have my first CAD class in a couple of hours, so I will have a few peppermints or maybe even a fruit smoothie soon.

I danced around my living room to some crazy techno for exercise and I will be cleaning and grocery shopping in a hurry before class.  After class I may go for a walk.  I don't know how I'll get any exercise in otherwise.

I think you will feel the least guilt if you stick to the rules of your religion and your own personal rules.  If I were you, I would just wake up a bit earlier and eat a decent sized breakfast, then have a snack right at sunset.  You could even wake up to eat and go back to bed if you need to.

I like that you're so dedicated to your 7 o'clock food bedtime & keep up the hard work w/o overdoing it!  Good luck on the fast & let me know what you end up doing.

Big weight gain can seem scary, but remember that as long as you're eating healthy and exercising about 30 mins/day 5x weekly, it's healthy weight gain.

It could be your water weight.  How much water weight you gain depends on how much salt you eat.  An average weight person's weight can vary by up to 3 pounds in a day.  And water weight is not permanent or attached to you in any way, so don't worry.  You're becoming healthy!!
