there could be many different factors. People seems to think it can only mean one thing.. but every body is made up differently. How many calories are you intaking and how many are you burning? If you are burning too many calories in a day it can stop weight loss. Or, maybe you are gaining some muscle which makes it seem like you are gaining weight but its replacing fat. Water retension maybe... it could be the running... we can't really answer that question.. it could be any of those reasons. |

mmm... some people think that you have to wait 30 mins... but thats just for purposes of not getting sick I think, same with waiting 30 mins before working out. Timelines I don't think are very important. I don't think eating right after or waiting 30 mins will hinder your results. I think they calories burn on site and therefor aren't really effected by what happens afterwards. but... I could be wrong... the whole system of asking this type of question on a forum is a bunch of people who have completely different ideas that will tell you there way or the hyway. But it's whatever your comfortable with really... |

I used to drink pop more then once a day but since I started this I haven't missed it at all... infact now i find it repulsive. I had a bit of coke a few days ago and it was nasty... I felt so sick afterwards, never drinking pop again, diet or regular. If that isn't pure garbage into your system I don't know what is. |

try drinking tea before or with snacks, trust me.. you'll eat only half of what you normally would. Tea ALWAYS fills me up. and definately pre-portion your snacks. I need to pre-portion mine. |

my uneducated answer would be yes. Your feet might be too wide for the shoe or something. they say you should have half to a full inch from the tip of the shoe to your toe? Try going to an actual shoe store with feet fitters/measurers. You dont have to buy anything because they are usually more expensive but it will give you the knowledge of what you need to look for. |

I think its important to worry about the eating. This place revolves around staying and being healthy. I don't recommend eating like a teenager anymore. being healthy is important even for us young people. Maybe not in an extreme way like counting calories but I think when we reach 20 (which I am) we need to grow up and start taking proper care of ourselves. |

great choice! I started at 1300... but after reading multiple posts here... I upped it to 1500. I started off excersizing and what not... but even with a deficit you lose weight, so Ive been slacking and still losing. when you stand still with losing you need to try new things or up your minutes. 2 hours is kinda extreme.... I wouldnt walk for 2 hours. I only walk for 30 minutes. but It all depends on how QUICK you want to lose. at 30 minutes for me.. loss is gradual.. I know if I busted my butt doing 2 hours I would lose faster.. but also blow-out sooner and then completely stop. |

wow, 120?? really? for a guy your height thats a bit interesting. Im 5'5 and my healthy weight is between 110-130. at 5'10 I would think that it was normal to be 160-190. I know guys who are shorter and lean and are much more then that. 150 doesn't sound bad at all... just keep tabs on it. obviously at the rate your going you will eventually become overweight. gaining 15 pounds a year isnt classified as good. Personally, as a girl... who likes tall guys... I don't like the bones... either gain some muscle or fat. lol Yes you will keep gaining weight with your lifestyle. Cut back on snacks and soda and do some excersize. Get at least 2000 calories a day to maintain your 150 weight or whatever your goal is. |

It honestly depends on how you feel about yourself. there is no right or wrong. I only weigh myself once a week because if I do more I get discouraged from not seeing a change. If your mindset is different and don't expect a change in your weight for the good then don't do it. If you realize that it won't show much from day to day then I think its prefectly healthy to weigh in every day. A good way to tell if a scale is a lemon or not is to step on and off 3 times in a row. If the scale tells you 3 different answers its garbage. My scales have always matched up with the doctors. I'd say if you want your scale to tell you the truth go get weighed at the office and when you get home weigh yourself and adjust the knoby to what the doctors scale showed. |

that is kinda weird... just like an anti-fur site having a fur coat factory sale ad. lol. I don't think it's unreasonable to be disappointed or confused as to why a health site is promoting mc dicks. Yuck. Im not one to get lured into mc dicks, I stopped eating fast food 5 years ago because it made me wanna puke... but some people love fast food... not a good support when they place thats suppose to give you support is making it hard to say no. |

a deficit of 500 calories I've heard is the best number. If your body burns 1800 daily on a no activity level then you can go down to 1300. Usually people burn 2000 and go down to 1500, so 1300 might sound low but if your burn meter says 1800 then use that as your guide. Any defecit is a good start.. even if its only -100. |

I know your not lying, never said that. I have only seen the 100 cal ones on tv and only seen 190 ones in stores. They exist, and I want them. I checked every popcorn box in the store, none that were 100 calories. Are they only in the U.S.??? Because I live in Canada... |

I make sure I add the things i love into my calories so I dont feel like i need to binge... however... I will never judge someone who has had a rough day and wants to eat yummy things all evening. I do sometimes. *shrug* |

hmmm... interesting. I don't know a lot of obese or severly overweight people... 99% of my family and friends are slim. But my co-worker is obese and she talks here and there about her weight so I feel comfortable talking with her... she never gets offended... at most shes proud of me. However I do know one guy who is really overweight and i've been kinda talking to him about my journey and he seemed very shocked with the facts and wanted to change and he cut out pop.. but unfortunately still not motivated enough to do some serious work. But I don't have a problem trying to motivate people I know. Sometimes people need that push or support. When it comes to sweets... I either just say No im good or... I have a tiny bit... just say trying to cut down on sugar... anyone should be able to respect that. |

hmmm good question.. I mean my body motivates me the most, but the nicest body would be... I have no idea... I dont pay any attention to celebrities because their bodies are so fake.. so i want to look up to someone who is real... I wouldnt mind having my sister figure... well the abs anyways. |

MMM cottage cheese!!!!! SOO yummy... I think for some people it's an acquired taste. I am a cheese-oholic so it fits perfectly with me! I eat it plain, out of the tub. But I would use a measuring cup. I have to measure otherwise I'll eat the whole thing in one sitting. hehehe. I also snack on peanut butter (plain), oranges, carrots, apples, toast, string cheese, thinsations, popcorn... |

Yeah, I mean you can still lose weight while on the pill... I am. I had a friend who got married and tried out the pill not sure which one and she said she gained 10 pounds... she slim and tall so you really couldnt tell.. but I mean I only ever gained like 2-3 pounds... so yeah its different for everyone for sure. |

Hmm... I dont take yaz... im on yasmin.. i've been on lots of kindas but they all have the weight gain issue. Though Im not sure how it works... it seems its only a one time weight gain? weird. But I've always gained with the pill... I don't think there is anyway around it. |

it took me 3 weeks to get off 2 inches on my mid-section... and trust me its a nice number but I hardly notice a difference. Sucking it in and losing inches don't turn out the same... |
