Foods dairy products v soy products? Sep 25 2008

ok, first off simply go to google.ca and type in pus in milk. and rachelcrow, i know not all dairy farms are the same, just as my boyfriends father is involved in Sealing, there is a right and a wrong way to do everything, just like there is a right and a wrong way to state your point. you can do it maturely and make your point, OR you can be immature and say things that are un related..... if i want to take the opinions of a website or organization i am fully able to make my own decisions, I also have the right to voice said opinions. If you think it is false, power to you, we are all entitled to our opinions. I was VERY offended by the hitler comment considering my descent.

Humans are also the only ones who cook their meat.  Should we not do that either?

As for the six drops of pus...yeah, I would check your sources on that one.

As for the cows, if you're really concerned, buy organic milk.

my source was PETA... i didnt just pull it out of my bum.... and im pretty sure the OP asked for opinions, and i gave mine. So...*choice words* ... im sorry someone pee'd in your corn flakes this morning.

Just a thought.... please dont flame me for my opinions.... I always felt that Drinking Milk was Disgusting for the fact that
a) humans are the ONLY mammals that drink milk after infancy
b) there are about six drops of puss in every glass of milk
c) the cows are treated HORRIBLY...

but thats just one opinion. im sure there are alot of other ways to get the health benefiets from milk. I prefer Soy Milk.

I agree, because it reminds me of a fake picture of a made up condition that I saw once... and will never forget. It creeps me out. If you want to know what I'm talking about just do a Google image search for "breast worms" but be warned. It's nasty.

ugh.... i looked...WHY DID I LOOK!?!?!?!?!!   my breats are all tingly now cuz i cant stop thinking about it!!!!!!

Weight Loss The holidays are approaching..... Sep 24 2008

Holidays are teh worst for me.  Its easy when were with my family, cause they are very health conscious as my mom has a bacterial lung infection that can not be treated, adn by dad has high cholesterol.

My mother-in-law on the other hand makes hes husband two packs of bacon every morning for breakfast, and saves all teh fat in order to cook everything else that she makes in it.  Basically everything ends up tasting like bad pork.  Not a lot of fun for somebody who generally doesn't eat pork in the first place, n/m the sheer amount of fat.  GROSS!

you poor thing!!!!! my boyfriends family is from newfoundland so i know how you feel, everything is salted and fried with extra lard as seasoning...

This is my first holidays with my new lifestyle and i want to enjoy everything that i usually eat on christmas, but im hoping to only nibble at it, and then eat the healthy things instead of the bad things as my main food. Its always good to have a plan and stick by your guns!

I work at a vet clinic as a Animal care Attendant/ Receptionist and learning to become a Vet Tech. I love it so much! it took a long time to get here (went to school for hairstyling and esthetics and finished at the top of my class, just to find out i hate people!) Helping animals every day gives me the sense that i am REALLY making a difference, especailly if i can convince an owner to do somthing good for thier pet. or when the owner has to make that last hard decision, im always there crying with them, afterwards they write me cards letting me know that it felt so good that they werent alone, and that makes me feel needed and usefull..... i wouldnt change my job for the world. animals are the best things in the whole universe.

In my opinion- They are just a waste of space. (the team). My reasoning is this- the house they build for 1 they could build houses for 5 Families.... thats just my opinion though.... did you hear that story on the news about one family they built a house for had to claim bankruptcy (sp?) because they couldnt afford they bills and land taxes....

Coincidence?

No - a logical consequence of people drinking too much booze.

And the pendulum thing was a 50/50 shot anyway - that's better odds than most things you encounter everyday, so there's really no special significance to it.  When me and hubby were first starting to talk about starting our family, a friend did the pendulum thing on me, and according to that method, we were to have two girls.  Same thing happened with another method based on my food cravings.  We wound up with two boys - go figure.

you dont have to be quite so negative about it. I dont beleive in them but its no need to bash it, if you dont like it, dont comment. I do respect your opinions but there is no need to post more then once disclaiming them. They got the point.

Weight Loss My doctor told me.... Sep 13 2008

I work at a Vet Clinic and talk to clients all the time about this problem, The best thing to do since you are already taking him on runs is to switch to a higher quality food. Such as Medi-cal Weight Control or another veterinary reccomened diet. I would steer as FAR away from store brand food like Iams grocery store and Hill's Grocery store brands as possible, but their vet diets are great.  His BM's will be Less often, smell better and will eat less food by switching to a better quality food, there are also really great vegetarian diets for dogs.

The Lounge Can exes really be 'just friends'? Sep 11 2008

Im actually friends with most of my ex's. One of my Ex's is my BEST friend, he and my current boyfriend get along great and talk all the time. sometimes you just know that you are not meant to be together. after we broke up we didnt talk for months, but after the hurt was gone we missed being in each other lives but didnt want to be in a relationship. So yes i think it is possible, Once you reach a mutual understand where the boundaries are, and if you can TRULY be happy for thier success and their future relationships.

Hi there, i understand exaclty where you are coming from, except for the fact that once i was put in the hospital from reaching my all time low, they were quick to throw me on the drug band wagon. Once i got out, the first thing i did was go to my family dr. and talk about options, we decided that the best thing for me was to get off the pills, and just have coping stratagies, and use natural mood elevators. The best things to make you feel better are, Good Diet, Good Sleep, and Keeping active. When i start feeling like i am going to have a mood drop or anxiety, i stop what im doing, and do something that i enjoy, or take my mind off of it, i play a sudoku puzzle, play a video game, play with my pets, anything that dosnt give me time to think. Just make sure that you are doing what is best for you. And that you always have someone to talk to.

Good luck, and remember you are not alone. there are millions of people going through what you are, even though you may feel isolated and alone. so reach out Smile

ummm well due to the BPD and low self esteem ive had quite a few boyfriends/shmucks at 19, i think its somewhere like 23. Um, but if we are counting to when i was in a healthy place in my life and i truly cared about the person and they cared about me, then its something like 2.

Weight Loss Do you believe your scale? Sep 08 2008
15:55 (UTC)
15

I really beleive that no two scales are alike. I work at a vet clinic and we weigh every patient, we have a really great scale, and it is consitent, and clients always ask why the weight on our scale is different then when they weigh their animal at home, so i think if you are going to be looking at a scale, you use the same scale consistenly to make sure that you are getting consistent results.
