Hello Everybody, Thanks again for the reminder...things are just a little crazy so I absolutely forgot to login in CC. About my 12 weeks goal: I guess the primary and foremost is to drink atleast 2 litres of water each day. I drink water for 2 days and forget the other 2 days. So, Drink Water Second wud be to create a deficit of 500+ cals everyday. I guess that is the long term plan for 12 weeks. Hopefully I am able to stick to it.

Hello All, Thank you for letting me join the group. I think it would be great motivation. A little bit about me: F/29/ weight 138.8 as of today juggling between 138- 140 since 6 months. I hit the gym 3-4 times a week and other days I go for long walks which wud probably end in a while with the winters heading...so it wud be all gym. I started this RFFL program 2 weeks ago. Its nice but have'nt lost anything yet but my legs definitely feel more strong. I always plan to eat in the range of 1300-1500 cals depending but I definitely go beyond which is the reason I am not able to lose weight. I barely reach 8 glasses of water everyday and I know I need to drink more water. I am not fond of sodas or sweet drinks. I sure like strawberry smoothie which I have like every other day. This is my 1st post and I am not sure what else I need to write...please let me know if any other info is required. have a good day everyone.

I have been a vegetarian all my life, never had a problem with that...during my pregnancy I got iron deficient and was suggested watermelon from my doctor. You can also have a cup of orange juice after having anything rich in iron like leafy veggies. I usually do that with my boy. |

Good Morning everyone: Yesterday went well. Today I plan to do cardio for an hour and keep my diet under control. Have a party tomorrow so wud try to cut back on my cals. Hey Yunalesca: I have Jillian Michaels 30 day shred too and since you have a HRM, can you tell me how many cals you burned doing it. I know cals burnt depends on a lot of factors but just wanted to get an idea. I am still on stage 1 though.

Hi All, I was'nt able to update the last 2 days. Monday went as planned but Tuesday I fell off the wagon with no exercise and eating a lot. I ate healthy but went way above my daily cals allowance anyways it was just one day. I am back on the wagon again. I plan to do Turbo jam for about 40 mins and wud hit the gym later in the day for the cardio. Hopefully everybody is on track and doing a planned i.e working out. Have a gr8 day. |

Hey, I take the group power class too and acc to CC count I asuume burning 189 cals/ hr. http://caloriecount.about.com/calories-burned -weight-lifting-a33. If you are doing with vigorous effort you are looking at abt 389/ hr cals acc to CC. I am usually on a light to moderate effort so I assume abt 190 cals. |

Hello Everybody...Where are all of you..hopefully enjoying the weekend. Here's my update: I did'nt do any exesricse yesterday but did eat pizza. the good news is I stayed in limits, had 2 slices. Today is the 4rth day of our one month workout and i have a class at my gym and wud go for a walk in the evening. Happy working out everybody and have a gr8 and healthy weekend |

Heading towards the weekend which really makes me excited and nervous. On Friday nights we usually have pizza...my husband loves pizza and he is always looking for friday nights. I dont say no for it because both my husband and my 28 month old son love it. I really dont want to spoil their party. Well, hopefully I 'll eat in moderation but I really tend to overeat although some part of me saying I have had enough after 2 slices but still I dive in for 3rd and at times even 4rth. I am never able to resist it. Anyways, I'll try extra hard to stop after 2 slices. Also, I am planning to eat abt 500 cals during the day which wud compensate at the end of the day and wud do a turbo sculpt and hit the gym for some cardio about 40-45 minutes. Also, drink lots of water like our friend Vanessa suggested. |

Good Morning everybody... Hey raediant, Congrats on getting the new runners Vanessa, first of all congrats for the baby. You also lost a lot of weight 30 lbs after the baby. Thats really good... I remember just losing 17 lbs after i had my boy and trying to get rid of the 20 lbs still after 2 yrs. i am sure you wud shed the last ones. I was really never serious until now but this time the weight has to GO...I am pretty determined. Hey Raplovestrixie: how do you mange 100 pushups. I am done like after 30 and that 2 the easy version. For today, I am planning to do turbo jam's cardio party and I have a weights class in the evening. That wud be the workout plan for today. I just finished the turbo jam sculpt ( 40 min duration).It feels good:) I am gonna hit the gym later and do about 50 minutes of treadmill and elliptical. Hey Vanessa, u r right abt the pizza thing, I am on 140 today down 2 lbs, probably it was just water weight. |

Please count me in too. I guess this wud be a gr8 motivation to hit the gym everyday or atleast 5-6 times a week. I take this strength training classes which of course have never been regular to but am planning to do it seriously this time. On other days i do cardio like treadmill and elliptical or stationary bike. Stats: Pretty embarrased to say 142 as of today..I started with 139.2 last week but probably gained on the weekend with no exercise and having this delicious pizza and what not ( God I hate weekends in terms of eating i mean) and Height 5 feet exact, i am too short. Measurements: Calves: 14.5 Thigh: 21.5 Hips: 41 Waist: 29 Chest: 35 My goal is to lose weight and inches. I wud luv to see the scale numbers go down:)

Hey redsee, I myself tell nobody that I am counting calories and just that I am trying to eat healthy or trying to avoid junk. It feels weird to me too to say that I am counting calories. I always feel that people wud think that I am weird. |

Hi everybody, Sorry for not being able to post so regularly but here I am. How is everyone's workout schedule going? i have been on and off on this free weights class offered in my gym but I decided to be there regularly since monday. Today is my 2 nd class this week and am planning to go for 3 in a week. The 3rd one wud be on saturday. Its a nice class, you really get to workout ur whole body. Also wud go for cardio 3 days a week hopefully. Anybody else lift weights? |

Hi Jellyfish, Its really not hard to reach 1800/ day. I am a vegetarian but I make a lot of dishes that are vegan. Try whole grains like brown rice, quinoa, whole wheat. Also, you can try including beans in ur diet...black beans salad, quinoa and black beans are some of the healthy and tasty options. One of my other fav dish id tofu and other veggies in peanut sauce. other options are lentils...i really like lentil soup made with all fresh veggies...it is a very good source of protein. As others suggested tofu, nuts, Peanut butter, fruits. I really dont think that you are out of heathy options. |

Please count me in too. I am trying to lose wieght since last year but nothing has really changed much in terms of my weight. My current weight is 139.4 (as of today) and goal weight is 115. I am short just 5 feet and age 29. My calorie intake is 1300. I go to gym about 3 days a week and lift weights once a week. I really want to lose atleast 10-12 pounds before Oct 30th which happens to be my wedding anniversary( 125 wud be great). my major problem is after 2-3 days of staying on track and doing everything right I feel like taking a break and that break goes on for 2-3 days and sometimes more. This has been going on since forever I guess. Lets hope we all can motivate each other. |
