So...from your post and profile, I'm pretty sure we are like 99% alike. I'm a physics major too. I don't know anything about patent lawyers but I thought I'd throw another physics related career you might like to consider in the ring. Have you heard much about medical physics? It is a lot like being a doctor as far as work conditions and salary goes. Except better, in my opinion. You only deal with radiation treatments (so no yucky stuff), you rarely get sued, and you don't have to go to school for as long. You can practice with only a Master's degree and a one year residency (although some people opt for a PhD). Plus, some schools will pay for your education unlike law school. I'm pretty sure that's what I will be doing come next year! |

Original Post by cptbunny: Okay. In the iTunes store you need to get to the podcast section. On the left hand side, there are categories. Click on Health. After that, scroll down a little. On the left hand side you should see the "More Health" section. Click on Self-help in this section. They have all sorts of things. Addiction, depression, stress relief, and relationship problems.
If you have any problems feel free to message me. Goodluck. |

I don't have any specific suggestions but I have recently developed a love of podcasts. They're free and you can see them through the iTunes store in iTunes. They have all sorts of types, including motivational and self help. Hope all is well. |

Original Post by runningbuns: I second that with a passion. Things I can't stand anymore: Twinkies, juice, non-homemade baked goods, kfc fried chicken (However, I will never give up my mom's fried chicken). |

My favorite healthy recipe is a sort of chili. It's very easy and pretty healthy. I usually make a big pot and eat it over several days. Ingredients 1 package of low fat ground turkey 1 can of no salt added beans (any beans you want) 1 jar of salsa, chunky or smooth depending on preference 1 package of taco seasoning (http://allrecipes.com/Recipe/Taco-Seasoning-I /Detail.aspx <-- a low sodium version) Optional: Vegetables: Diced peppers, onions, corn, etc.
1. Brown the turkey until only slightly pink. Don't cook all the way or it will be rubbery. 2. Add the salsa, beans with liquid, and seasoning. Add water until it reaches desired constancy. Let simmer with a cover on low for 10-15 mins. You can serve over brown rice or eat with multigrain tortilla chips. My favorite is to make chili nachos with tortilla chips, low fat cheese, and top with salsa and fat free sour cream. |

Hi I used to eat whole flax seeds. I too liked the crunch and the fact that they store longer than ground flax. But then I read that it was better digested as well. So now I just grind it myself with a spice grinder. Plus I can grind it "gently" so that there is still a little crunch to it. |

Hi everyone! Thanks for all the advice. It was all so very helpful. I realize how different everyone situation is. So I decided to talk to my boyfriend about my fears. He was a huge comfort by telling me that he was scared too but excited for all the things that we could experience together. Just to clarify, I'm not thinking about getting married anytime soon! I need to get my Masters first. My worrying was prompted by scheduling my last set of classes and filing an intent to graduate next semester. Not by a marriage time table! I'm just fine with not getting married for another decade. I just like to know that I'm not all mixed up with what I want. I'm going to finish school and try my hardest to apply to tons of graduate schools. Then it will be easier for him to find a job near me. I'll just wait to see what our dynamic is in that situation :) |

The level of "hardness", as you say, is completely dependent on your hormone levels. There is no special way of lifting to make you look a certain way. Sorry. You just have to accept that and be happy that you are becoming healthier. |

Nutmeg - Old wives tale that a tall glass of warm water and a scoop of nutmeg will cure anything. Pastrami - Threw up a hugeeee portion Yogurt - I used to chew yogurt when I was younger because I thought that that was the way it made your teeth stronger. Once I chewed it for a tid too long. Soggy Cereal - My sister used to like soggy cereal. She would let it sit for at least an hour before digging in. Also, we didn't have a garbage disposal in my house. So I would have to flush it down the toilet. This turned me off of cereal until I started living in an apartment with a garbage disbosal.

Try to incorporate more calories during the day. That way, you're not super full at night. Try drizzling olive oil on top of your meals. A tablespoon has 120 cals! |
