If the original poster had said that she got the munchies from drinking, nobody would have gotten into a moral debate. Why do people keep on thinking that weed is soo much worse than alcohol? ugh. Also, a lot more people do weed than most people think. Its just not something you advertise, especially in the workplace because so many people are uptight about it, and think differently of you.

I think your best bet is to plan your snack before, and that its already prepared. Obviously, if you plan to have veggies and hummus, but nothing is prepared or cut up, chances are you'll end up eating chips.  Any 100 cal pack of chips or chocolate is cool, or dipping fruit in yogurt, whipped cream (doesn't have that many cals). And keep on saving yourself some calories just for that purpose. You should still have a normal diner (make it a bit smaller), in order to get all your vitamins and minerals.

well, i always doubt the menu of sit down restaurants. sometimes you can find the calories online, but then you order it and while you are eating it, you *know* it has to be more. i've also read a couple articles (don't have the links), where people went into restaurants and ordered stuff and had it analyzed, and the fat and calorie content was way higher than they claimed it to be.

subway is obviously the popular healthy choice.

wendy's isn't so bad if you know the menu and what to get. for example, their salads aren't bad, but its the topping that kill ya, so don't put in the almonds, or noodles or croutons, and put half the dressing. also, the jr hamburger with no mayo, or the grilled chicken breast with no sauce are good choices. they also give choices of diet coke or fresca (no calories), which is quite interesting. plain baked potato and chili is also a good option.

as for desserts, there is nothing like yogen fruz in my opinion. small non-fat vanilla with blueberries ...mmm

when i have subway, i usually get the 6" turkey or subway club on whole wheat with no cheese, and the sweet onion dressing. and i'll account 50 calories for all the veggies since i get mine all dressed.

Foods pasta? Sep 14 2008

when i decide to have pasta, i keep it to one cup, and i add about a cup of boiled veggies and one small diced chicken breast. i add some sauce (only plain tomato that has like 60 cals for 1/2 cup). it makes it more filing without having all the calories of like 2 cups of pasta, and alfredo sauce.

i still drink diet soda when i am craving soda. i drink it less than 1-2 times per week though so i doubt its a big deal. i just hate wasting calories on drinks.
