Keep it coming! I feel so relieved just reading all of these, and lyma_bean, I would LOVE to come to your petting zoo. Back in Newfoundland I have a horse, husky/and mized breed, cat, ferret and chickens waiting for me! :P.

I just walked out of work today, excuse "I feel like crap"! I was so SICK of hearing the *BEEP* for when someone from the Toronto Star calls and complains. I am being paid to be B****ed at. I am at the bottom of the economical food chain.

And yes, I hate not having a libido as well flowergirl21. It must be the birth control. I'm to the point where I don't want my boyfriend to touch me, and THAT'S bad.

I hate constipation.

Yeah! I am working for 7.5 hours as well! (sorry for the late reply Tongue out).

I have a plan. 30 minutes to walk to work. That is what I will always do, unless it's dark and scary. My breaks, I will go to washroom, and do squats lol. I always have done this during my work times. I am working in a call center (Blech!!)

I help people in Toronto with their newspaper billing problems (Toronto Star). I deal with bitchy people all day. That's exhausting mentally, so in the end of the day, I will feeel tired, but nothing a coffee can't fix. Mehehehe.

I want to lose 5 pounds to get to my ideal weight. Maybe pack light snacks. What kind of snacks are there out there that are not going to turn into fat while I sit on me arse. Lunch, 30 minutes.

I bring lunch most times. Sandwich, granola bars. Anything that is low in calories, but nutritous???

What do you do andrusca?? I need support! Back up!

BUT, me and that little light mole are still rivals. That is inevitable, and will be an on going glaring battle! *glares once more and shakes fist*

LOL, I have an appointment today. He's going to laugh at me though lol, it looks perfectly normal now, only lighter! I never picked the whole mole off *shudders ugh!* just the white filmy stuff. I can't find noone anywhere who had this happen to them. But there's one thing for certain.... that mole is now my new archenemy, I'm on to it that's for sure! *does a squinty glare at the mole"

Hello!

I totally agree with you, check with your doctor if you have any concern about yourself. CC is a great place of support. I have posted up some topics on stuff in which I am concerned about, but not for someone to help diagnose me or anything, people here are posting stuff ( I think I'm not speaking for the majority here now) to see if anyone maybe can relate. Being able to relate or hear other people's stories can be uplifting, just getting it out, your concerns, also helps. For example, it's 4 am here now, I just posted about some unusual mole, hoping someone can relate, no way I can see a doctor now, I just want support from fellow CC-ers (CC-ettes, CC-ians???lol)

This site is also about helping people with ED problems, or letting us know their side of the story (that's what I'm getting at anyways), so I'm pretty sure to them it's obvious they should see a doctor (if not, they shouldn't be bitching.)

I hope this doesn't sound saucy! I don't mean for it too :)

Take care

That's great news! I have had lots of food guilt as well, and my mom always said " no food guilt for me" , the more she said it, the more I realized she was confident, the more I felt confident. So, parents defiantly affect the way you feel about yourself I think. I'm glad your stomping your foot on the ground, and declaring the end of the obsession!! When I stopped my ED, I felt like screaming "**** THIS **** ****!!"  now that I think about it, I probably did lol.

Eggg, old forum (who cares)

Me, I drink 4 drinks a week. I never gained, I'm losing, I still feel healthy, and I become totally relaxed during that night (or split between two nights). No hangover, good times.

Wow this is a old forum. Frig that though, allow yourself 2 drinks at least one night of the week. You'll relax (one shot=64 calories, so together you'll only consume 128 calories!) For me, I will risk one night of consuming 128 calories worth of alcohol to relax. :) We're only human! These small delicases make us happy lol

Ahhh the cubicle life. Me and my boyfriend used to work in a call center together, so on breaks, we'd walk around in the nature trail and spend quality time togetherCool, I know that's out of the question, (he's working somewhere else and I am in the city). Maybe I can "wiggle in my chair" or squeeze my cheeks, or whatever. For some reason I'm thinking I won't lose anything, but I won't gain anything. The never ending dreaded plateau. Eck

"Just Do It" hey? Smoke hey?  I think I'll stick to the Just Do It. I had the same problem working in a restaraunt, "why the hell do these people keep leaving me during supper rush?!?!" yup, devastating. So I started taking "smoke" breaks. So unfortunantly, I only applied to 2 (out of like 25 active jobs) sit at your desk jobs, and I got one.

Ahh, I don't ever binge as well, which I am very proud of!. I also keep a count in my head on such days. Well, sometimes I would eat very little during breakfast and lunch (maybe 150 each! O: ) and "cheat" on supper. I guess I still go over, but not by too much. You never know how many extra drinks you'd be having afterwardWink

I'm supposed to be burning 1400 while doing crap all all day. Ends up being 2200 all day though. That seems a bit high and I feel like I should be losing weight as well! I usually have one small cheat thing a day. Some days it's a small hot chocolate, maybe a piece of chocolate, or a slice of cheese or something ...Innocent That and I cheat every Friday.

What do people mean by cheat day though? To me it's a beer and pizza lol, or is that "over the top" and should be like "have some cheese on your vegan burger" type of thing ......

I am 19 years old, it was only 4 months ago when I was 105, and I gained since then, I don't go to school or anything, so I can't even blame freshman 15 lol. If my body likes me the way I am and won't budge anymore, then my body's out to get me. I am not happy like this, so it better start budging. I am a very small build, barely any curves/bum/breasts (my sister stole them from me!)

BUT, it would be nice to enjoy my body the way it is now until then. I just want to know if I am actually doing this right I guess lol. *siiiighhhh*

AAANNNNNNND

I don't want to hear any "by the books replies" they are too generic to me and never work out. Like "eat breakfast" "eat 1200 calories" I eat more than 1200 calories, and by eating breakfast, I eat like 500 more calories than what I am supposed to. Let's all be honest okay?!

ARGH! I know how you feel! Except when I gain any weight what so ever, it builds up on my hips and my thighs blub out! Thighs are so hard to work out. I managed it once though (yes, there is hope!) I even managed to get rid of cellulite !(I am now one with the stretch marks, might as well live with 'em lol)

What worked for moi:
Exercise ball, put it between your ankles and do the bridge.
  Squeeze ball.
Adjust yourself so that you can feel your hamstrings/inner thighs "burning."
  Works your bum too!Laughing

Other ideas: (If you don't have a exercise ball or access to gym)

Lunges. Squats. Running/StairMaster (I hate elliptical s, they do **** all for me). Weights that strap on your ankles and walk with them. Lunge with them, god sakes do something with them! lol

Hope this helped,
   -Amber S.

Original Post by j-fizz:

...right, i was going to come on here n rant about my binge habit that i thought i had kicked coming back...but you know what? it's actually not THE END OF THE WORLD...so i over ate today...i might go over my daily cals slightly, but it's the first time in a long time, and no doubt this over indulgence will boost my metabolism and not do any long term damadge...so there you are, im not going to get depressed about it, and neither should you if you've binged too!

I'm probably late for this post lol. But here we go.

This is how I think about it, to make myself feel better. Okay, so I ate (for example) 2000 calories today. All in all today I burned 2210. 210 calorie defict (ignore the for example lol this actually happened yikes!!! *hits self*) (I think I burned more .every 10 minutes I do 30 situps and lunges

ANYWHO, 210 defict, at least it's not a pound. Think of it like that. Did I eat like 3,500 calories today? NO, and if you did, you burned half of it. I think a pound is easy to lose, much easier to gain mind you. But a new day, a new start, drink lots of water, it makes me bloated but at least Im thinking "hey, it's only water, not water retention and fat lol."   :D

2000 defict?! I wish I can have a 2000 defict! Unfortunantly I would be non-existent if I did :O  I only spend an hour at the gym, 1/2 cardio, 1/2 weights. What's your normal days like? Deficts?

Amber.  What are your stats?  Are you still a teen?

I'm asking because 1200 calories is at the very minimum that you as a female should be eating.  If you are a teen, then the minimum is actually 1500.  So that means that it is possible that when you are eating breakfast and hitting closer to 1300-1500,  you might actually be eating what you are supposed to be eating.

Hello! I am 19 years old, caloriecount is telling me to eat at least 1200. I eat now 1200-1400 everyday. I mix it up. My stats, 121lbs 5'3'', trying to lose some weight because I know I would love my body again :).

califpam:
I find that with bread, I just CRAVE more bread. I am trying to bring in more proteins, I hid my bread away (usually out in the bag) and I do have oatmeal that I am trying to eat :)

Usually for breakfast , when I did have breakfast, I would have two eggs(one is just pathetic), whole grain toast and a clementine. Or Oatmeal and crap loads of coffee. Or whole grain cereal with fruit. All healthy (except for coffee aka. my sanity) LOL Don't be concerned LOL, just a preference that's all, still healthy.

Oh yeah, and if I don't eat 1200 calories in one day, it's not the end of the world for me. I read the link above and I'm thinking of fasting once a month, or week. I need to talk to my doctor about it.

Hello,
I know one of my pictures say "115 lbs now" but that was then lol. I am now 121,  and I don't like it. I'm generally a happy person, we all "beat" ourselves up and some point.
*johnnypenso when you say eat whole grains, what kinds do you suggest, I have the bread, the regular oatmeal, intsant, chips, cracker (It's not grocery week for me haha) . My whole grain bread is not to bad when it comes to calories: 2 slices= 180 calories.
I am trying to be toned, and to be 112lbs.. I know carbs are not too bad, (good kinds)
Raisins are mostly sugar, they are just addicting! So I portioned them off in bags (like i do with everything, whole grain chips/crackers/etcetcetc) Damn, they are so good. Fresh veggies are fruit are just to friggin' expensive!! Arg. Arg to being poor. lol

Yay! Keep 'em coming guys :)Making me feel better. Is 210 g your average amount of carbs allnaturalgirl02? Do you find you lose weight on 210approx.?
I remember a while back I ate 250 and it was fine. I guess I am just panicing because now I am used to 150 and below.

, I want to know how many grams of carbs everyone eats to help them lose weight. I heard 100 grams is the most, but clearly that it ludacris, and if you're like me, I cannot function with only 100grams of carbs Cool
