Hi everyone....yesterday was weigh in day!! I only lost 1lb. but I'm okay with it. 1lb. less to lose!!!! Here are my current stats: Starting wieght: 179 Goal weight: 135 Current weight: 173 Lbs.lost: 6 Keep up the good work everybody and we will all reach our goals in no time!!!! |

Hmmm....it doesn't look like much of anybody has been keeping up with this thread??? What's going on ladies???? Anyway, yesterday was my weigh in day and I lost 1lb. I'm still not 100% sure if I'm doing this calorie deficit thing right??? Is the top number how many calories you have burned for the day and the bottom how many you should eat to keep your deficit at 500??? I don't want to sound stupid but I'm still a bit confused, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanx~~Sam |

I will join, I am a 32 yr. old mom of 4. I hope to be close to my goal weight by June so this will be perfect. I have been on CC since 1/16/09 so I will begin from there. I usually weigh in on Tuesdays with the biggest loser show. 1/16/09: (179 lbs.) 1/20/09: (174 lbs.) Goal weight: (135 lbs.) Total lbs. lost: (5 lbs.)

Hello everyone, Yesterday was my weigh in day and I lost 5 lbs.!!!! Only 40 more to go........ It's a small piece of the bigger (or maybe smaller picture) ha,ha,ha. Anyway, I am now 174 lbs., it has been close to 3 yrs. since I've been below 180, it feels good. Logging onto this site and counting my calories have really been helping me!!! By the way....did anyone watch the Biggest Loser last night? I still cannot believe that they let Joelle stay?? WTF?? Something is seriously wrong with that chick. I think maybe she snuck a few too many Valium up in there or something?? I dunno' she doesn't even want to be there (I feel bad for her friend Carla who is at home counting on her and working so hard). Maybe when Carla gets back it will be the motivation/get up and go that Joelle needs, we'll see. |

Hello, I am 32 yrs. old and a mother of 4 children, 3 boys and 1 girl (ages 14, 6, 5 and 2)!! I actually signed on way back in September, I lost a total of 4 lbs. then I had a minor surgical procedure and just kinda' quit. Sigh........ I am 5ft. 5in. and I currently weigh 179 lbs. (YIKES)!!!! I weigh more right now than when I gave birth to my first 2 children (OMG). Today is day #12 of my new lifestyle change and I'm feeling pretty good about sticking with it this time. My husband is doing this with me and we are weighing in on Tuesdays with the Biggest Loser (love that show). Last Tuesday was our first weigh in (my husband lost 6 lbs.) and then there was me (-0 lbs. Ughhh...). It was very dissapointing. But...I'm not going to give up this time!!! I got back on this site yesterday and looked up how many calories I was supposed to be eating every day and found out that I wasn't eating enough (hmmm....who would've thought). So I am now going to try and stick to the calories this site says I should be eating. Maybe that is the reason I didn't lose anything last week??? I have been going to the gym every other day since we started but, I've got to tell ya ( going to the gym is for me the hardest part). At this point I absolutely 100% have to force myself to go, and when I get there I have to force myself through the CARDIO!!!! I don't mind the weights but DAMN that CARDIO, LOL!!!!! I'm not sure when it's suppossed to become fun/habit but hopefully it will be soon because this is my downfall every time. Any suggestions for motivation to workout?? Anyway, that's about it for now. I am 5 ft. 5 in. 180 lbs. as of today. My goal is 135lbs. I've been finding it very hard to stay motivated (on/off diet & exersize). I'm hoping this will help!! |
