In highschool: Orthotricyclen. Worked well. Hated taking a pill everyday so switched to nuva ring. No problems there.

When I wanted a baby: It took 7 months to get preggo- I think because I was on a hormone bc for so long. After I was off the hormones I felt like my moods were better.

Between the babies: Spermicidal jelly. I didn't want to take hormones when I wanted another baby in a year or so. It worked, but felt like I had to do a medical procedure every time. The plus side was as soon as I felt it was time to try for another baby I got preggo in a week.

After the 2nd baby: Copper IUD. Was wonderful for about 7 months until I started getting continuous spotting.

After the copper IUD: Hubby got a vasectemy.

After I left the hubby: I got an essure procedure done. It is simular to tubal ligation, but with no invasive cutting. They put a metal coil in your fallopian tubes and your body naturally developes scar tissue around it and after 3 months you are sterile. So far, so good with that choice. The bonus is that now my new boyfriend wants kids but I can't have more kids. I'm glad I don't have that option because I am really really done with having/wanting kids.

I think I need to explain. I guess I just assume everyone on this chat is my friend and keeps up on my journals (even though I have some of them locked!) Well the post I wrote on August 19th:

Hey there guys! I have been on a rollercoaster these last few weeks. One day I am happy with where things are going and the next I can't do anything but think of my kids. 11 days away at a time is hard. I went to visit them once last week so I guess technically it's only been 6 days. Before this the longest I have been away was 1 day. I get them tomorrow. And they go home Sunday. I gotta make these days count and do something fabulous! Today is my anniversary. 8 years. Makes the emotions come out. I'll get through it. Just got to keep my head up!

I wrote this because I moved out of my husband's house about a month ago. Our marriage is over, and that was a hard day for me because it was (or I guess would have been) my anniversary. I hope yesterday's post makes more sense now.

I'm happy today. I met a new guy. He seems really cool. And he can afford to spoil me (really he is cool too- this is just a nice bonus!) We went on a date. He has 2 kids which is totally cool too. He likes cars, which is awesome because I am kind of a car freak  (ha-I didn't say cool this time) Well I'll let you know what becomes of it.

What became of it you ask? Well I went to his house last night and he had a giant boquet of flowers for me and 2 2nd row tickets to a Nickelback concert for Friday. I am sooooo excited. The concert is about 3 hours away and he got a motel and everything. This guy is really great!!!!

I am a drafter. I work for a City doing civil drafting. You know roads, sewers, storm drain... I am working on becoming a civil enginerd. I *should* be able to get my PE (professional engineer's license) in about 5-6 years.

So, I'm kinda wondering when my work is going to notice that this is a social site and ban it like they ban everything else. So far so good.

I only have to come up with 8 more posts before I get the trophy number.

I hate to post this reply because I don't want people to judge me. I have been there. I started cheating on my hubby about 3 years ago. I felt awful, ended it quickly and went on with my hubby. I told him about a year later. He forgave me after about a week. Fast forward to about 6 months ago. I was completly unhappy again. I started cheating again. He found out this time through some e-mails I had forgotten to erase. He forgave me again. I felt awful. Couldn't sleep. I finally decided to leave him. I did it for him. I know that I am not in love and that my heart has been open for another man to walk in. If I had stayed he would have been hurt again. I do love my husband, and care about his feelings. I'm just not in love with him. Some may think I am an awful person for this, but I feel now that maybe he can find someone that deserves him. That will be in love with him. I hope he can find happiness. You really have to look inside and figure out what it is that is causing you to cheat. Be honest with yourself first and then your husband. It is hard.

Good idea, I think I will go check out the library here in my new town after work today. I could use a good read to keep my mind off of things anyways. I really like to read biogaphies. Anyone have anything to recommend?
