| Weight Loss | Which celeb body most closely resembles your ideal weight/size? | Oct 22 2008 17:07 (UTC) |

I would have to say Valerie Bertinelli. She is a real person not just a celeb. She was pretty open about her weight even before Jenny Craig. We have the same body type both before her weight loss, I am hoping to look like her when I loose all my weight! |

| Young Calorie Counters | Calling all Time Travellers.... what advice would you give your teenage self? | Oct 15 2008 16:15 (UTC) |

I would tell my 9th grade self to TRY NEW THINGS! Don't be afraid to go out for cheerleading, and the school play, and that I am very talented even if my dad didn't see past my academic smarts! BE adventursome and ask the guy out that I liked instead of wishing he would ask me, and when that very sweet older guy said he liked me...I would tell myself to go for it and not shut him down just because I was afriad! LIVE IN THE MOMENT FOR THEY ARE FLEETING! |

| Weight Loss | I need suggestions for buying a scale! | Oct 14 2008 16:36 (UTC) |

Well I am having a similar issue with scales between work and home. Scale at work is digital but has me 5 lbs heavier thatn the one at home (also digital). The one at home reads my 10lb weight as 10lbs so it should be fine. Yesterday I had my once a week weigh in at work it was 204.4 (at noon) and the one at home was 199.0 (at 6pm) which should I believe? |

Thanks jkppt! I need help deciding on how active I am so I can know how many calories I am suppose to have. I work out 3 days a week for 45 minutes doing aerobics and circuit training. So doe that make me moderately active? My job requires standing and walking, but not enough for me to say I am active and 2 days a week my job requires computer work so I sit most of the time. So once I know mwhat my clories should be what happens if I don't eat all of them? Is that bad? I know eating too many is bad. Sometimes I get so busy that I forget to eat and I really want this weight to come off! HELP!!!!!!!!! |
