But those "desirable" tasty foods I tend to eat on a daily basis, like I said at least 3 or 4 times a day, and I don't normally go overboard. And also, when I had started binging, I just ate dinner and was already stuffed to the max, so I think just eating even more beforehand would just make me feel even more sick, because being full didn't/doesn't stop me from eating.

Otherwise, keep a sense of persepective.  Everyone overeats from time to time.  It's really not the end of the world. 

 But like I said, I tend to have that stuff on a regular basis, because I like it, and it helps me get my calories up. And even i I didn't have that stuff, if you noticed it wasn't JUST junk. I ate a lot of tacos and rice cakes with peanut butter, which I see as being very healthy for you (And remember I wasn't hungry) So even if I didn't have that "junk" I could still very easily binge on other things.

I don't think it's the end of the world, I just feel like CRAP.. not emotionally because I did it, but physically. I don't like my body feeling like this, and most people don't eat until their on the verge of throwing up and then pass out. I took it one big step over overeating I think..

No, it's just I ate that much junk as sort of a "catch up" because I've been so behind lately. I wouldn't normally eat THAT much junk

 Oooh, I haven't had grape juice forever!! I love it! (Not that fond of orange juice though) But yeah, that works great because my top favorite fruits just happen to be plums, cherries, pears, peaches, and nectarines! So if I ever have a big enough appetite for some fruit, I'll just eat my favorites! :P

Oh that reminds me!! I used to have this AWESOME snack when i was a kid, and it's loaded it calories! It's a peanut butter, nutella, and banana sandwhich! YUm, so good! And I think that's better than what I'd usually eat.

I hope that was just a one-off!  If you eat too much junk, not only are you not getting enough energy (calories) you're also at quite a high risk of malnutrition.

What you're probably missing are the 'energy-dense, low-bulk' foods.  That's things like olive oil.... a tablespoon is 120 cals so if you put it on a salad as a dressing  or use it to cook food in then that's a nice way to get extra cals.   Nuts and nut butters are other good choices.  Full-fat dairy products are excellent in moderation as are things like red meats and oily fish.  Vegetables such as peas and sweetcorn are more energy dense than leafy greens.  And bananas and grapes would be a better choice than less calorific fruits.

Drinking the extra calories can be a nice way to get them.  A small glass of orange juice here or a glass of milk there could be all you need to top up.

I know, I do eat a lot of junk. I want to eat more fruits and vegetables, but I literally can't or I get REALLY full, and I will be way below my calorie line. Would it be a good idea to many get my fruits and vegetables in juices though like apple juice, and V8 juice, and stuff like that? Oh, and in case it helps, I do take a multivitamin everyday. And also, for calories, what about DARK chocolate? I heard that it has a lot, and it's fairly healthy. And also, for nut butter, what about nutella? I really like that, but I'm not sure if it's healthy or not.

Hey everybody! Hahaha, I'm so glad it's the weekend and I'm bacl at my grandma's house. Yay, back to food heaven! Today for dinner, we ordered out this GIANT 16' fresh baked piiza from the store... it was super EXTRA cheese and had 5 different cheeses on it!1 It was literally like boiling over! But it was absolute pure deliciousness, and I ate 1/4 of it! And I just enjoyed it!

I've been enjoying life a lot more lately, and I almost completely stopped counting calories altogether. I find that it's much easier for me that way because I was starting to get very obsessed with it. Now, I just tally up at the end of the day, and so far my calories have been good each day. But lolz, I've been eating tons of junk food still, silly me :P

Oh, I found another addiction I have. Dry-roasted edamame! They are so dang good, but I think I ate way too much of them today. I had this HUGE container from Costsco of them, and I think I ate about 1/4 - 1/3 of the container in one sitting... Oopsiesss.... But I was snacking on them out of boredom and it kinda just accidently happened. They're addictive though, but I think at LEAST 6 or 7 servings of them... Lolz, plenty of healthy fat and protein.

But yeah, man am I stuffed. That pizza was so good... My grandma's house is my new favorite place to stay, she always has such yummy food. Well, can't think of anything else to say for now. Gonna go grab some french silk ice cream. Bye-bye~~!

I ate 1/4 of a 16' extra large 5 cheese pizza! It was cheesy deliciousness, and I ate a FOURTH of it! And I didn't care, I enjoyed it :)

Hey peoples! Oh man am I stuffed. My dad made some of his famous homemade chili for dinner. I took 3 helpings!! (GIANT bowl fulls) Oh, and of course with TONS of oyster crackers and cheese.. mmmm It was pure deliciousness. My family was shocked how I ate more than all of them..... again..... for the 10th time in a row.... -_- Oh, and don't forget the cornbread of course~! Yummy~ It was all delicious. Yikes, almost 5000 g sodium today though. That's always my problem... -_-..

But yeah, I ate over 3000 calories today again!! Take that ED!! And I had five desserts today XD~!! OMG this was the 10th night in a row I had a celebration meal, the holidays this year really better fatten me up, it made me eat so much :P.

But NOooooo, school starts tomorrow!! It'll be nice to be in school again and see my friends, but without all the family gatherings and desserts, birthdays etc it'll be much harder to get in all those calories. And it won't be nearly as fun :(. Ah wellss...

Hmmm... I don't think I'm forgetting anything.... well I guess that's all. Ta-tas for now~!

I ate a nice homemade meal of chili and cornbread, took 3 helpings of chili, and loved the cornbread~! And I got to eat with my family. Also I hit 3000 calories again today :D~!! Go me!!

I ate EXTRA cheese PIZZA for dinner!! 4 HUGE whole Slices!!! And also for dessert I had TWO pieces of a triple layered fudge tiger cake and had two servings of ice cream with it.. YUMMERZ! I had tons of fun at my grandma's birthday today :D~! Hahhahahahah!!

Yummerz, had grilled cheese for dinner yesterday with tomato soup. I've always dunked my sandwhiches in the soup ever since I was a kid, people call me so weird, rofl.  But yeah I had THREE sandwhiches made with REAL butter and tons of it. But lolz, it was like another sodium attack yesterday, 'specially with all the soup I ate. Oh wellllsss...

Lolz, yeah, but mostly I'm still on vacation food :P. (Except for yesterday, but I <3 grilled cheese) It's been great over winter break and literally every meal was a special occasion almost. And now today is my grandma's birthday and I plan on eating tons of cake and ice cream!! These past weeks have probably been so healthy for me (calorie-wise) and UNhealthy for me (all I ate to REACH those calories) but in the end I think it'll all be worth it. It's just for me it's been a special occasion treat everyday two weeks in a row. Well, too bad holidays are over now. I still think this year ended up being perfect and my resolution for the new year is to be able to gain at least twenty pounds before my birthday :)

Ooohh, btw, I'm finally making my gingerbread house today XD!! (Kinda late doncha think?) I baked it yesterday and today I'm gonna put today all the pieces and decorate. Then of course.... CANDY!! Yum! but lolz, it kept on getting it put off but I was was like I WILL make one so I did! It's going to be a "Chinese New Years house" so then is when I'm going to smash it.

..... Man now I want some more Chinese food.... I'm gonna go eat a fried donut.

I tallied up last night's calories, and I ended up reaching over 1500 cals just in liquid, even more than I thought! Wow, that's ALOT of liquid calories, and /I had fun and had a great time at the party, and ate tons of delicious things. Also, today I baked a gingerbread house. I'm gonna decorate it later and then of course, EAT IT!! (Not yet though) Now to go and eat some ice cream. Ta-ta for now~!

Hi everybody! I've become much more involved in the forums lately :P. Today, another great day. For dinner me and my grandma made a home-cooked meal for dinner and we all ate pasta with this DELICIOUS home-made sauce with creamy cheese spinach and parmesan cheese garlic bread. YUM! I ate 3 servings of pasta drowned in sauce and DOWNED the garlic bread. I am such a carb addict :P. But yeah, I stuffed myself for the THIRD night in a row! ROFL! Hahaha, I'm so lucky to eat like this and then say "Hey, it's good for me!" I eat so much I put obese people to shame, RAWR!! 

Ooh, I also ate a pack of those LIndt Dark Chocolate Truffles today. SO yummy!! It's really been fun with my family these past few days, if only it could always be like this. Too bad when break is over I have to go back to living at home alone again. At my house I'm always all alone because my dad is home while I'm at school, and works from 2-pm until 10 pm, comes home at 11:30 or 12:00 and by then I've gone to bed, so I never see him. My mother died when I was seven. But my older brother lives with us. He dropped out of high school, but I get along and look up to him about 3 times more than I like my dad. (We've never gotten along well) But he's usually at his friends, so I get pretty lonely normally. Ah wells. Gotten enjoy the holidays~!

Oh yeah, bad news. I was drinking too much liquid that I was flushing all the sodium out of my system, so I've been temporarily been put on a plan where I can only drink 4 to 6 cups of liquid daily! I'm getting tested again next week on Wednesday or Thursday, and I'll be able to drink 8 cups again if I get my sodium levels back up. But MAN, dinking so little liquid STINKS! But, I've been pushing through with all the fun I've been having, It kinda of makes me forget a little, and also gum helps :). But hopefiully when I get tested my levels will be all better again. Anyone have any advice though?

Oh my GOODNESS, today was like as nice as yesterday! I ate how I wanted all day, just appreciated and played with my family (and presents) and for dinner I stuffed myself to the RIM with a nice home-cooked meal. (Though my tummy is VERY uncomfortable from overeating again) And today I now have officially bumped up my calories :D!! Awesome! Although one BIG problem though today is I ate over 3000 g of sodium and I did worse yesterday... yikes!!! Gotta watch that... (LOVE salty food).

But yeah, the roads are so bad and it's so cold out (right now I'm at my grandma's who lives in the country) that we're stuck inside the house. We have NO ACCESS at all to anywhere, we're like isolated. But it's so nice, it was kinda of like christmas all over again, just without the presents. There was baking and playing games (mostly video games :P) together and all sorts of fun.. I LOVE the holidays! It really has helped me just being able to NOT count calories, when I don't obsess over it, it feels like ED losing it's grip over me. Then I just go back at the end of the day, and see how I did.  :). I went kinda carb-crazy again today, tons of candy, chocolate, muffins,  cookies etc. But it's the holidays, might as well enjoy it, and I need it to. And of course the cals help (Hee hee XD)

Yesterday at Christmas,

I ended up being able to reach 3000 calories because I overate so much. I didn't count at all all day, just tallied up at then end. During the day, I felt so free, I was't bound up in any strict pattern, I just ate what I wanted to. And then we ate out at a Chinese Restuarant for dinner, I ate 3 and a half FULL BIG plates of food, mostly being fried donuts, fried egg rolls, lo mein, vegegetable stir-fry, and TONS of fried rice. Then I had more fried donuts and white rice white sweet and sour sauce and some spring rolls, crab rangoon, and pretty much ANYTHING that was deep-fried. Then I went back and ate more XD!! Lolz, talk about carb attack. And then with my stomach hurting from eating too much, I still went back up for more dessert of ice cream and a few of these little cake things. I ate more than my entire family did, I mean my plates were stacked and piled with food, they were shocked how I literally ate like 3 times more than everyone else did. My grandma afterwards even whispered how she was proud of me :). And I felt NORMAL for godsakes. When I had waken up in the morning and saw all the chocolate in my stocking and ate some mindlessly, I DIDN"T wonder how many calories it had. I just ate it. (And ate a LOT too!!) I felt like a little kid again, free with my choices! I really think I've overcome most of this ED thing mentally. I loved yesterday, and I guess the holidays were perfect timing for me this year  ;P.

But yeah, what a wonderful Christmas. It was nice how I wasn't thinking about food at all all day, and I just ate what I wanted to,  when I wanted to, and had fun with the rest of my family. Too bad it;s only once per year XD!! (Just wait till New Years!!)

At school we had all you could eat cheese pizza and hoho's since it was the last day before Christmas break, and I ate four gigantic (And I mean HUGE!)slices of pizza and five hohos~!! Man, I've been ATTACKING fear foods lately! I was SOOOO stuffed afterwards, and I had eaten it all without thinking about just laughing along with my friends. It feels so nice lately, I feel so NORMAL! I don't care anymore, I'm happy..

Lolz, I should probably focus a little less on junk food though, cuz today and yesterday about half of my cals came from it XD...  lolz.  But junk food is fine every once in a while, I should just stop eating so much of it everyday :P

And who here can't wait for Christmas~! Me and my family are going to have a huge dinner, and me and my little bro are gonna literally DIVE at out stockings. I'm planning on eating SO much chocolate. But hey, it's only once every year. But it's funny, lately, I've been eating like EVERY day was a holiday~!

Oh yeah, and it feels so nice, I've gotten a few compliments from my teachers saying I was looking better. Wait till I tell them my secret... junk food!! XD Yay~

I ate fast food for dinner AND I ate ALL of it, and then I came home and ate a Reese's Fast Break and a mini snickers and a Hershey's Kiss. Yummerz~!! I conquered TONS of fear foods today, and I feel great :D

Okay, all better :). I somehow survived that day.. lolz. I woke up this morning and my appetite was stronger than ever so no idea what happened XP. Hahahaha... now I can eat even MORE~!

Thanksgiving for me too~! We had HUMUNGOUS dinner plates, and every single person topped it over full, including me! I ate SOOOO much, and even afterwards, with me stuffed to the rim, I ate pumpkin pie! It was so much fun, and I actually felt like I was a part of the family again :)

Today, I ate an entire thing of KING-SIZED onion rings from Burger King!! I LOVED them, and I didn't feel guilty at all! I haven't had anything deep-fried in a lonngg time..

Yesterday I ate the biggest cookie I every saw in my life. It was one inch tall, and as big and round as my head, if not bigger. It was pumpkin pie spiced and it was SO good, and somewhere over 1000 calories just for one. XD

You think YOU guys ate too much last night! Just from 7pm-9:30pm last night I ate over like 2000 calories, and before then I had eaten over 1400.  And THEN after all that I ate my homemade double chocolate cupcakes before I fell asleep... YUMM!! So you guys didn't do nothing bad at all. But I'm not worried about it at all because halloween is a time when you're supposed say who cares and eat however you want :)

:edit: kaybug, I didn't count either XP.. for all I know it could've been 3000 or 4000

I also went trick-or-treating, and it was great!! I had so much fun and must have eaten more than 50 pieces of candy and I ate seven of those giant sugar coated popcorn balls. And I didn't count calories :O~! The term 'calories' or 'too much' didn't even pop into my head a single time last night! I had a blast, traded some candy with my friends, and and went home to eat my double chocolate cupcakes I made! I didn't care, I lived freely, and I bet I indulged in over 2000 calories just in that time, and I don't feel guilty one bit~!!
