No you are not fat. You are soft, meaning not much muscle definition. You are healthy looking. And you are a pear shape, from what I can see. No matter how much weight you lose you will always have that shape. |

In the Dirrty video, she looked thin and normal, but she did gain weight after that. You could see it in her cheeks and thighs and stomach. She was not fat but she was chubby for her size and height, at one point in time. |

Seth Rogen ;) Don't forget Kelly Clarkson. She's always up and down. Nicole Richie. Christina Aguilera got skinnier after her Dirrty days. Britney Spears. Beyonce got pretty thin at one point. Jack Osbourne. Kristie Allie, and all those other ones from Jenny Craig. Klohe Kardashian. Tori Spelling. I'm sure Lindsay Lohan believes she lost a ton of weight, and looked amazing. |

Don't eat fried food to up your calories, that's terrible for you. Eat more of the healthy things. This will boost your calorie level without the unnecessary sodium and fats and all that garbage. A 1000 calorie deficit is quite steep, probably caused your "plateau" as it were. |

| Weight Loss | Hello im new. Need tips on how to lose weight!!! | Mar 25 2009 18:07 (UTC) |

There is no right program to follow. The only real "right program" is the one that is right for you. Generally that would be eating healthy food, and following the food guide as best as you can. Remember: calories into your body has to be less than the calories you are burning to lose weight. You can figure out how much your body burns per day by using the tools under "my account". Remember to work on your cardio, and some weight training for muscle definition. It should melt off like butter in the sun. |

| Weight Loss | is it bad to eat most of your calories at the end of the daY? | Mar 24 2009 17:45 (UTC) |

Yes, it's not good. Heres why: |

| Foods | 1 egg, 2 yolks | Mar 23 2009 16:27 (UTC) |
14 |
hahah thats kinda...weird. I know they sell cartons of double yolk eggs in downtown Toronto but I wouldn't buy them. Generally, a large egg is about 95 cals or so. And a large egg white is about 15 calories. so 95-15=80 (egg yolk) So 80+95=175 for your eggs. Or so... I don't know. I'm just guesstimating. lol.

Ahh...not really. One day they are the lowest you should go, the next they are a few hundred higher than that. Then the day after theyre a bit lower. Apparantly it helps to keep your metabolism running? I dunno. Check it out. but in terms of eating 4000 then eating like 400, no. |

| Weight Loss | Hydroxycut?? | Mar 18 2009 03:20 (UTC) |

I tried hydroxycut. It did absolutely nothing for me. A whole bottle and not one pound lost. Anyways it made me develop these big painful welt type things on my legs that only went away after I stopped taking them. I don't know what the hell is in those things, but they are seriously disgusting and terrible for you. |

I don't know but there is this absolute terror deep inside me that is just sooo over whelming. Being thin is unknown territory to me. I don't know what I will look like, and it will change your life, and probably many decisions you make will be altered by the fact that you are thinner. It's weird but..can't help it. |

Oh man. A whole thirty days without going to the washroom? Are you serious? You're supposed to go like every day or 1.5 days....Your **** is literally rotting in your intestines. Do what the others said. I eat fibre 1 cereal, and try to get fruit and things like oatmeal into my diet...bananas too. I agree with you. I would move to the US, but sorry, healthcare is **** there. Such a turn off. |

Hey! I'm Steph. I am 21 years old, and currently in college. I have been overweight pretty much my entire life. I was always just above the normal BMI. Sometimes it was a bit more than "just above normal", but that's my reality. I was 170 when I started. Today is the first day of week 4 for me. I think I have lost about 5 pounds or so over the course of three weeks, so pretty much a normal rate, I figure. I write lots of journals, to help me stay on track. I also read all my buddies journals, and comment, so feel free to add me as a buddy if you wish, and drop me some comments :). |

| Weight Loss | Why Am I Hungry?? | Feb 26 2009 19:24 (UTC) |
2 |
Original Post by starbuck23: Hey there. You're hungry because the foods you are eating are not keeping you full. Yogurt, salad, a clementine...they don't have much fibre do they? You can eat like tons of veggies and never reach 1200 cals and be extremely full. So whatever. But yes, generally ,1200 cals is what you should aim for. With your yogurt, have some almonds or walnuts. Try eating scrambled eggs with your bagel, and I dunno, a home made smoothie. At lunch eat your salad, and have some tuna on a small tortilla with lettuce or whatever.

| Weight Loss | Would i gain weight if i eat a 1000 calorie pancake every saturday? | Feb 24 2009 16:11 (UTC) |
2 |
hahaha happy fat tuesday: think of it this way. a 1000 calorie pancake PLUS all the other food youd normally eat. SO that is potentially like, 3200 calories. It is an extra 1000 calories that is added to your body, and deducted from the calories you are burning to lose pounds. And it takes 3500 calories burned to lose one pound. If you have trouble staying to a strict diet, it is because your diet is too strict, and is not fulfilling you! Add as much flavor to your foods as you can using spices, onions, garlic, whatever. Just make sure you don't use some spice mix that has a ton of salt- thats very bad. Also, every other day let yourself have like a serving of cookies (2), or 1/2 cup of frozen yogurt, or whatever you enjoy- just make sure it is a serving... and not worth 1000 calories. |
