I'm having a similar issue as well. I've been getting naseaus alot lately after eating (or more often when I don't eat) I have a habit of just getting so distracted that I forget to eat and I realized that my calorie intake is way below what it should be. I went to see a GI about these issues and after realizing I lost 10 pounds in a couple weeks, he gave me a perscription for an anti-nausea medication called Phenergan. Basically it is a histamine blocker and its often prescribed for motion sickness. (which is what I would say my nausea feels most like) It can make you really drowsy but it should help. For me just knowing that I have if I need it helps ease my fears and lets me eat more. You might want to think about talking to a GI specialist and they can usually help, even if it has to do with an eating disorder. I also second the Gaviscon thing by the way! |
