I nursed everywhere and at any time of day. Never covered up either. No one knew what I was doing and a couple of times had friends come up and look at baby to realise they were eating!! |

Why not change it to what you like!! No one says you have to have those foods on thanksgiving. Try a leg of lamb roast, or just the trukey breast alone. Do roast potatoes and make a nice salad with some special lettuces. We make sweet peas sauteed with onion, mushrooms, garlic and some diced bacon. That has always been part of my thanksgiving dinner Start your own tradition for you |

When I got my dress it was sized for my hips. Fit perfect there (had the bust area significantly altered) which are classic child bearing in size. I then bought the strapless undergarments bringing the dress with me to get those items, then I wore the undergarments for the fitting. If you are happy with your overal shape I would maintain your current size as last minute alterations could cause you ondo stress! |

Will you stop worrying about their weight!!!! Sometimes the percentile charts are guidelines only. I have never once in 14 years of having children been told where my 3 kids fall on that chart. Your daughters are perfect. They are active, eat a healthy well balanced diet. Sleep well, have no underlying medical conditions
Just raise your girls to love themselves and respect their bodies!!! |

After the death of this young teen we are all now going to vaccinate for H1N1. This will be our first ever flu shot for my family. I have 3 kids and my youngest is prone to the Croup and my oldest is medically compromised so we will do them for our health

Original Post by amy4302: Amy I feel for you. In my 2nd preg. I was like this with chicken. I was around 8 weeks along preparing dinner and next thing I know got so grossed out by the chicken that I got sick. No more chicken at all in the house for the rest of my pregnancy. We ate a lot of pork then. I couldnt eat chicken for my 3rd pregnancy but I could prepare it. As soon as I delivered my aversion to chicken was gone almost immediatley. I truely think its our bodies from way back preventing us from eating foods that could hurt the baby. |

with my 2nd baby I had really bad sciatic problems. A few times my right leg would give out while standing. And oh the pain was brutal. I have problem pregnancies so the sciatic just compounded everything and doc. sent me on sick leave/full bed rest at 32 weeks. Staying off my feet and using heat helped a bit as well. The last 2 weeks I was on tyl. #3 for the pain. Wasnt until labour that the sciatic problem went away b/c baby moved off the nerve!! |

Im a retired dental assistant. It is a fairly routine surgery for any oral surgeon. First and for most try not to listen to any horror stories. Follow all instructions you are given to the letter for both pre-op and post-op care. Very important.
The problems mainly happen when patients rush their recovery or dont listen to their dentists. |

I wouldnt stress too much over this. Your life style and habits sound just fine. And from your profile pic it looks like you are outdoors a lot. Just keep doing what you are and just keep an eye on portion sizes. Remember that what you and your husband promote around eating habits makes a lasting impression on your beautiful daughters. Just wondering how tall they are. Maybe a growth spurt soon will level the baby chubbiness out b/c thats all it looks like to me. |

the main problem with the h1n1 strain is its affecting people in the prime ages and the majority of the hospitalizations are happening among women aged 25-35. A small study came from a hospital in one of my provinces from the spring group and 63% of the ill were from this age group. Usually the seasonal flu hits the elderly harder but this one has caught us off guard from the norm. I would just take the necessary precautions at this point b/c you have already been in close contact with your roommate.

Original Post by dog_lady: One thing you need to understand is pumping isnt as efficient as nursing. There is only so much milk you can extract while pumping. Baby's are much better at it then an artificial method will ever be. That being said I dont know how you ladies in the States manage going back to work after 4 months :( Seems so unfair to the health of your babies.
Here in Canada if you pay into Unemployment Insurance and have enough weeks then you can take 1 year off and still return to your same job or an equivalent position at the same wage you left at. |

I had my cat declawed at 18 months old. up until then it was impossible to get her to stop clawing the furniture and flooring. She even managed to pull up the parquet flooring that edged the bathroom tiles!!! We only had the front claws removed. She is now 13 and still "scratches" everything from books to baseboard!!
I also am an animal lover but I dont see it as abuse. |
