WOW! Seeing that all the same motivated ladies are still here is like coming home again!
Well, I am stuck between 149 and 151. Thats still down from my 5 year stay at 157-161! But I had gotten down to 147 before the holidays!
So I am commited to starting NEW today! My goal is back to 147 by the end of next week! :)
I will try to catch up in the next few days, but it's so good to be here right now!
Anyone hear from Brigette?

Hello Ladies!
148.5 this morning! Seem to be maintaining right around here! Time to kick it into overdrive! So before church I will hit the bike and the weights! Today I am not sure about the food! I had a great breakfast, 1 scrambled egg and a light WW english muffin with honey. But than I had friends over and I had some Reduced fat cheese with Whole Grain Crackers, Chips and Salsa, Veggies and light dip, and some Veggie Pasta. Just kind of grazed all afternoon. Nothing big. I am guessing a bit on my calories, but figure I am around 1600 or so. I was Go Go Go all day. Just not enough water!

Hey Ladies,}
148 this morning! 1 pound away from my pre Christmas weight!
I work late tonight, so no workout, but I have been running the stairs when I can!
I am at 720 cals for the day with dinner still to come! So about 600 cals between dinner and a small snack and I will be set!
Hope all is well!

Joan, you are SO on your way! Great job getting back to the gym!

Sherry, I am with you.....tonight will be a splurge night! Last one for awhile! I worked to hard to get the first 10 pounds off, now I need to focus on the last 10 or so!!!

I am excited! I am in Grand Rapids Michigan and my husbands company sponsered the building of a giant lit up New Years Ball to drop at midnight! There is an outdoor concert too! Some country singer and The Plain White Tee's are playing! Should be fun! I am fighting a cold, but I have tomorrow off and can rest then!!!

Well Happy New Year ladies! We can make 2009 the thinnest and healthiest yet!!!
XO

Joan, you are NOT disgusting! Just a bit out of control! You have always been an inspiration to me and seeing you fall off the wagon just proves that you are human! And Watching you lose it all again the healthy way will inspire us all again! YOU CAN DO IT!
Well thankfully I was 149 this morning. Not quite back to my pre Christmas 147, but getting there! I am going to do 10 miles on the bike tonight and lift some small hand weights at the same time! I ate great all day until my dads leftover cheesecake called to me after dinner. I just had a small piece, but counted it for the Cheesecake Factory 480 cals. I think that might be high, but my number for the day (1800) with that on there should keep me in check! I may munch on some carrots and after my workout I should still have a 700 calorie deficit!
Hope everyone else is well! It's pretty quiet in here!!!

I feel a bit like you are defensive and shooting down any ideas for help. At 130 pounds you are an extremely healthy weight, though I totally get you wanting to get back into cloths that are a bit tight now. But you started out pleading for help, but dont like anything that has been said.
You need to eat more based on what you posted as your daily intake. And you need to work out. Cardio e/o day and some weights e/o day. One day to rest.
Log everything on this site....food and workouts. It makes it SO simple! It gives you all the tools you need!

Java girl gave you TONS of great advice. And she is right.....dedication is dedication. Walking outside in the cold is GREAT! You burn even more cals as your body is burning them trying to maintain its proper core temp!

This site provides SO MUCH SUPPORT! Just open up your mind to what others have to say....even if it is not what you want to hear.

Still 150 this morning! Very frustrating to have worked so hard for 147 and in 3 days gone back up to 150!
I am going to keep chugging the water and I rode over 10 miles on my stationary bike.
I went to my dads for Christmas today and he made homemade cheesecake with a brownie crust! I had a small piece I shared with my daughter, but I need to get back off the sugar completely! It always kicks my butt!

Well, I hope everyone is well! I am headed up to make a healthy lunch and snacks for tomorrow!

Weight Loss Alright - how does this plan sound?? Dec 28 2008

I think it sounds great in theory, with the exception of breakfast. I would add some eggbeaters or cottage cheese. Just to up the protein that last little bit.

My concern is....will you get bored? You may want to check into "Body For Life" a book by Bill Phillips. He gives a list of authorized proteins, carbs, and fats, and of course you need plenty of green veggies. That way you can mix it up a bit. Plus his plan allows for a "Free Day" once a week where you can eat whatever you want. That part did not work for me. I did not know how to re adjust after the free day back to the strict plan.

Hope this helps some. You can also get the food lists online for free!

Hello Ladies!
Well, I thought I would join Brigette in saying....It's been a LONG time, but I am back at it! I used to post here even though I was in my 150's. These ladies were gracious enough to try to help me get to my goal! After a lot of struggling, I am happy to report that I was down to 147.5 the day before Christmas. I am less happy to report that I have slipped a bit and weighed in at 150 this morning. I am fairly convinced a lot of it is water, as I did not do that badly over the holidays! So I am thinking I should be back on track in another day or two!

I just finished an 8 plus mile ride on the stationary bike! Tomorrow I focus on getting back to good eating habits. The sweets are pretty much gone from the house! I have been taking a 100 percent natural carb blocker that had pretty much eliminated my drug like addiction to sugar, so it should be easy enough to get back on track!

So just wanted to check in! Looks like lot's of new ppl since I used to post, but happy to see Joan, Brigette and some other veterans!
Have a great night all!
