Probably not the best route, but he is currently 500 km away so I e-mailed him to ask what was going on. He basically said that he was going on dates while seeing me, but had not been on one for the last 2 weeks. Further, he said that we should talk on the phone because he's confused as to what my concern is. I'm cutting my losses and going -- |

No, we didn't have "the talk." I have learned my lesson ... I just assumed that he was just into me. We used protection, but I am most definitely going to get tested now - just in case. |

I'm a teacher so I received a lot of chocolate from students. Anyway, I gave them to neighbours and friends to enjoy. :) Throwing them out would be a waste. (I too love chocolate - one of my students gave me chocolates from Leonidas. It was sad to part with them! haha) |

Mix: tuna, chickpeas, celery, and, a little bit of mayo. I have had the aforementioned combo without the mayo and it was just as good. :) |

My walk to work is about 3.5 km - it includes hills and flat areas. At the gym I usually do only cardio, but I do weights 2 days a week. I'm hungry when I wake up in the morning, but that's normal. =) And yes, I drink a lot of water - it must be at least a litre a day. I have a water bottle in my hand all the time - after teaching, I chug it because I'm so thirsty! I think I was overweight because I was not active at all. And the portions I ate! Don't even get me started! lol I now look at the food and think to myself : am I eating it because it's in front of me or do I really want to eat it because I'm hungry? |

Hi! Thank you for the warm welcome. I eat about 1500 calories a day (this includes dessert every night), go to the gym everyday, walk to work every morning, and play basketball twice a week with a league. I'm a teacher with a special needs class so I am always on my feet. |

I joined Calorie Count in October and absolutely love it. =) I'm really embarrassed to say this, but.... I'm 23 and I have never had a BF in my life. I guess I don't have what it takes? Anyway, I have lost 35 lbs. since I began taking control of my life and could not be happier. Right now I am focussing on my teaching career and losing weight, but it would be nice to meet someone too. |

Hello! I recently joined this site to read the forums. I began my weight loss journey on Sept. 1, 2008. I just moved to a new city so I thought this was the perfect opp. to begin my weight loss. Anyway, I began at 240 lbs. and am now at 224 lbs. I am 5'3 and my goal is to be at 130-140 lbs. I portion control, but don't deprive myself of anything. Also, I visit the gym 5 times a week for one hour. I look forward to reading posts in this community! :) |
