i lost it! :-( starting again tomorrow (11/22).  on the bright side, i EXERCIZED today, so at least a little bit of the terribleness of what was for me an average binge was countered.

hey guys! i'm still binge-free, thank goodness.  just wanted to say to those looking to add protein- if you're not completely turned off by greek yogurt, give it a try.  some have up to 14g protein in a 140 calorie serving, and they're super yummy.  i got 65g protein today and i'm a vegetarian, so these are clearly a lifesaver!

okay, so i've been super sick (oh post-concussive syndrome, how i loathe thee) for the past two days, so i'm not certain my not-binging is anything to be congratulated on, since i've actually been too nauseous to get anywhere near even the BOTTOM of my calorie range.  but, on the bright side, it definitely kicked me out of the potentially dangerous binging cycle i could have found myself in.

hope everyone else is doing well!!

i got DANGEROUSLY close to binging last night (read: 1 calorie short of my upper calorie limit)... fortunately held off, but i'm a little wary of today.  have to be careful.  hope y'all are feeling a little more steady!

definitely in.  i've actually been successful in not binging both yesterday and today, but... my record is two days, so here's to making it through tomorrow.

11/12 is my day 1.

you may be able to find the nutrition information for your school's food through their dining services website, as well- and it might be worth looking at.  i know i was appalled when i saw the nutrition information for some of the entrees that appeared to be more healthy... a lot of the time they have to add lots of oil and that kind of thing to keep stuff from sticking if it's sitting around for too long, so there are added calories that wouldn't be in the same meal if you were just cooking at home.


that said... i haven't gained any weight during my college years, largely because most of my meals are soup/salad, sometimes supplemented with a steamed veggie, and obviously with the occasional splurge.  and who knows, maybe your school does a better job with the healthy cooked options than mine... try looking for the nutrition information online, i'd bet you find at least something!
