CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! =] I envy you.

Success- Ive lost a pants size in the past year-ish but my love handles are still there, but less prominent.

And yeah, i think clothes are a terrific gage, but i think the thought of losing weight sometimes gives me more confidence than i should have in certain clothes. [lol]

So... yeah...

If there werent tons of health problems that came with being over/under weight, then being truly proud of being that big wouldnt be a problem I guess. But come on... You cant be proud of a high risk of diabetes, heart problems, etc. right?

I actually find empowerment in watching what I eat and excersicing, in other words doing something about my weight, but ya know, different strokes for different folks i guess. You cant let a video upset you if you can do nothing about it, its not like theyre hurting us.

but anywaays, its awesome that you posted it cuzzz it IS VERY interesting!

However, I have completely stopped counting calories because I just couldnt keep it down to 1200 and I didnt think it'd be very healthy.

Anyways, I'm losing weight rapidly but I have plenty to spare.. Good luck for the last week! happy earli eid!

I just took it in the spring and opted out on the writing part [not a very smart move actually..] BUT! the essay on my SAT [similiar test] was about like... social issues..? Although I'm pretty sure the ACT essay question is something more concrete, My SAT question was something like "Do you think people should out a bigger effort in keeping things to themselves?" which was way lame. But anyways. I doubt theyll ask you about what you think about the latest spongebob episode. They're testing you on your writing skills, not on your interests.

gotta agree with hkell. I feel the same way  in that i expect them to have good manners and I even feel rude when I bring it up but different people view friends in so many different ways these days its hard to please everyone.

Like, I know I get so pissy when one of my friends doesnt ask to eat something off my plate or drink from my bottle even if they were to ask I'm so ready to give them whatever they need. Most people that I hang out with tend to have the additude of 'we both scratch each others' backs so theres no need to ask or say thanks everytime!' which sorta sux sometimes

Hell yeah I would be mad. Theres no reason to let him do it if youre not happy about it!! And its not even like those words are harmless.  amazing and gorgeous are words you use on your girlfriend not some chick!

I think its perfectly fine. Its especially good if it helps your headaches. Plus, the extra sleep has a calming affect in most people. If your asking if its okay for dieting, i think its fine, unless youre trying to put on weight. It takes more calories to sleep than it does to sit and watch tv. I hope this helps and/or others reply!

[to bananapancake] OH NO its not the shops youre going to. its basically like 90% of the stores have clothes for sticks and like i cant even express howmany times ive had a shirt be "too small" cuz it wont fit over my chest. its horrible!

thats whyyyyy my favorite thing to wear is hoodies. xP

Hey, i'm a junior in highschool and i'm trynig to lose weight but nothing too extreme. having something to look forward to on here sounds great because like I feel like i'm only commenting on old people's forums, journals etc. Is there a group already? Or are we making oneee? xD

x] Unfortunately for me, i havent ever gotten sick off of any amount of candy ever in my  life that i can remember. So definately first off: Chocolate has always been a huge problem for me cuz its always around, its cheap and i am seriously addicted [or i was].

Second: probably pasta cuz again, its always around in my family and I could always rely on it when i needed to make a meal. Recently I realized i was ruining my calorie intake by adding pasta to my salads telling myself it was just as healthy and blahblahblah. SO I've decided to lay off of it for a while.

Third: Those canned soups. [especially clam chowder] =[ I cant even explain why but I used to eat two a day because i thought they were just so heavenly and i guess i was lazier.

Fourth: Any kind of chips because they're the hardest to turn down when someone offers, I always think "One chip isnt going to hurt" and i end up finishing their bag. D=

I have learned tooo try and resist by filling up on different foods and then taking a moment to ask if i really want those and think about my goals and stuff. I still reward myself with chocolate but i think i'm making a breakthro.

This turned out to be way longer than i expected it to. Sorry. :(

The only thing i've heard about heating foods in the microwaves is the whole thing about putting wax or plastic wrap on top cuz it becomes cancerous or something, i dont really believe it but my dad really does so hes made me stop. I think as long as youre using a microwave safe dish its fine in the microwave.

I'd really like to help otherwise but i feel that the stove keeps it warmer than the microwave a lot longer, but thats just me. To keep from burning stuff, you can start it on a low heat and gradually turn it up. ^_^ stirring REALLY helps, ive learned.

Weekly Excersice- None, haha maybe thats why I'm not getting great results. I only have PE in the morning which includes Swimming for 40 minutes once a week and running 8-10 laps also once a week

Cals-Its getting horrible because I'm on Winter Break, but normally around 1400

Most Lost in a Week-Probably about 5, but thats because I had just put on like 10 pounds

So Far- Since about July, I've lost 20 pounds, which was about my weight last year and it seems impossible to get below 168.

Idunno about veryyy- but in order to stop snacking I've clean almost every room in my house and have stopped taking anyyyy money to lunch because it is just too tempting

omg!!! i have the sameeeeeee problemmmm!!! my dads friend gave a whole sack of white onions and theyre just sitting on the table. I've tried: 1. making onion rings [didnt go well, i had no eggs at the time] 2. chopping them fine n putting them into my salad [works out great but im tired of salads -.-] 3. carmalizing them [was good, i added it to some chicken alfredo i made lol]

 

 

but anyways thanks for posting this cuz the ideas are super helpful!

Yeah, i dont drink it but my mom MUST have it with lemon juice and sweetener. the lemon juice cuz of the absorbing of antioxidants and we all kno why the sweetener. =]

well idunno wat a whiskey soda is.. but they drop any grade real low if it has any alchohol in it.. regardless of calorie amount.

Yeaaahhhhhh I dont knoo about it being completely true or complete BS because like.. Ive always noticed that.. if i eat.. more than i normally do [like double almost] during my TOM, it all gets burned and i gain no weight. If I were to eat the same amount during any regular day.. the pounds add up, fastttttt.

Soo idunno. i think there is some backbone to this theory.
