yeah i definitely have this problem too. whenever i go out i drink and stuff but i dont eat enough and then i'll get home really late andhave to make up a ton of calories (last night about 800-1000) which i do but then i feel guilty and breakfast is hard blabaldhal (you know the routine lol) but yeah it's something i'm workin on it's just all about balance i think

yeah i'm sorry but it happened to me twice. they said i couldnt come back unless i went to inpatient care and then got a written letter from my doctor. i still need outpatient letters and i can only return in the fall when my doctor permits.

cw: 86.8 this morning

gained about 1.5 pounds the past 2 weeks which is good but everytime i reach about 87-88 i fall backwards. i'm pretty determined just to get over 90 again, and just stay that way forever.

sorry i havent posted lately, i've been working such wierd hours that all the meals and snacks are sporadic and not worth sharing. i also have a double sinus infection which i just start antibiotics on today which is no fun but i'm glad to have a couple days off to just get my body used to eating regularly again.

 today:

breakfast: oat bran, peanut butter, 1/2 banana, raisins, fage, cinn,  coffee (500)

snack: apple, almonds, more raisins (350)

lunch: (not too long after the snack- very hungry today for the first time in forever) bowl of brown rice, pinto beans, baby carrots, snow peas, ketchup;) and a piece of bread with peanut butter (600)

dinner: i'm thinking chicken breast, cheese, sweet potato, vegs (600)

snack/dessert: grapes, greek yogurt, soymilk, shredded wheat,  (450)

anddd icecream!(FF)- 150-200?

snack: a few reese's pieces and oatbread (300)

lunch(/dinner?): huge sweet potato, ketchup, carrots, rabe, chicken breast (600)

after work: tons of pb, fage, shredded wheat, milk, apple (600)

out: drinks (300? dont really count drink calories anymore)

later: 2slices oatmeal bread, more peanut butter, 1 oreo, ricew/cc

yup. definitely hit goal and it's 2am. bedtimeee

ah can totally relate to the bloating lately especially since i've been eating more and incorporating more calories. i'm pretty back up as well (tmi! sorry) but when i drink more water it definitely helps, it just makes me feel too full sometimes.

todays eats

Breakfast: whole grain oats, slivered almonds, cottage cheese, peach, coffee

snack: blueberries

lunch: chicken breast, sweet potato, broccoli, ketchup, more cottage cheese

snack: tortilla chips and a piece of a quesadilla at work (FF!)

dinner: (about 9pm when i got home) brown rice, melted cheese, peas, carrots, tempeh

dessert: deep chocolate pom vitabrownie, cinn raisin peanut butter

ahh so full! but i'm kind of feeling motivated and accomplished. 

thinking of adding a bit more pb to get the last few cals in and call it a night.

 

edit:: had an extra 5 prunes, pb and piece of oatmeal bread. so stuffed but needed the extra cals. ahh i iwhs i was hungry or could go to the bathrooooooom

breakfast: 9 grain hot cereal, cottage cheese, cantaloupe, dried cherries, coffee (500)

snack: strawberries, high protein boost (350)

lunch/dinner/meal w/e: huge chicken breast, broccoli, tomatoes, tortillas, apple (700)

after work: kozyshack ready grain strawberry with peanut butter and lowfat yogurt (500)

went out, had drinks:) (300ish)

got home and had 2 slices of museli bread , 2 ginger cookies and mudslide ice cream (500?)

 

its 1am aka sleep timexx so full and ready to pass out- thanks for all the reassurance lately, i keep forgetting how good it feels to post here and realize i'm not alone in all this.

thanks for the welcome, today was hard and i'm feeling quite guilty but i also have a weigh-in tomorrow which was supposed to be one of the last if i had kept the weight on so at least i was motivated to go through with finishing all my calories today.

thanks for the advice about work too- i am going to try to sneak stuff in, possible a bar or a boost on a bathroom break but i'm a hostess so it's kind of hard to be reaching into my bag or such and grab stuff. i'll figure out a sneaky way to get them in haha

 

breakfast: 1/2c oats, banana, strawberries, cottage cheese, cinn, coffee (600)

snack: shredded wheat, fage, melon, milk (300)

lunch: wheat tortillas, steamed broccoli, swiss, spinach, tomatoes, handfuls of random dry cereal, chicken (600)

pre=work: 2 servings trader joe's temptation trail mix (400)

later: nectarine so far... probably a vitamuffin and yogurt or somethingggg as long as it adds up to another 500 or so cals

looks like i'm back...again..ahh this time i'm determined to get and stay at a healthy weight. PROMISE. haha

here's today (things are crazy crazy because of working about 8 hours a day and having a manager who isn't too keen on giving breaks especially for food..so i had to cram a bunch of cals in at breakkie, dinner and night snack but i think i did okay?)

 

breakfast: oat bran, slivered almonds, cottage cheese, strawberries, banana, coffee

:::work:::

on my way home i drank a strawberry high protein boost (yes, i'm beginning to get brave enough to drink supplements especially when i know i need them)

then dinner was a huge chicken breast in  a wheat flour tortilla, laughing cow swiss, broccoli, tomatoes, 1/2 banana, and a slice of trader joe's veg pizza

right before bed i had (haha get ready for this)

chocolate pom vitabrownie with cinnrais pb, vanana yogurt, trader joe's temptation trail mix and cantaloupe.

 

 

i'm really nervous about gaining weight too fast by eating so much at night but i guess i've always been a night eater and a calorie is a calorie..so i've heard so many times... wish me luck and great job guys- nice to see some new faces!

Eggs -don't

Potato -sweet and baked into chips

Berries - plain and raw

Tomatoes - cut with balsamic

Beans - mixed with veggies in hummus

Corn - don;t

Cheese - laughing cow on english muffin

Meat - don't (sorry!)

Nuts - oatmeal

Green veggies - rice bowl, mainly spinach mixed with barley

Carrots - baked

Milk - heated on cereal

Rice -plain

Fish - raw in sushi

Oats - oat bran with berries and almonds

1800 calories isn't enough teck, when your weight is so low it's going to take almost double that to gain. i suggest raising it about 250-500 calories every few days until you reach over 2500-2800.

errrrr feel like i ate so much today and my calories are hit higher than usual after dinner but i'm actually glad since i'm not feeling well and won't have to cram more than a few hundred in later on. i think today is actually making me realize how pointless "saving calories" really is. and i've been feeling guilty too but just reassuring myself that everything is healthy and full of nutrients is really helping.

(got really sick after this.. wont go into details but my day has truly been a fight)

l- pear, 1/2 banana, fage, preserves, gh bread

s- 1/2 banana,honey wheat gh slice

d- tempeh, carrots, sweet potato, almond butter

s- will probably be a bit of wine if i feel better but i think i'm comind down with a stomach bug so when i get home from going out i'll prob just have an ensure or chug one before i leave

i have met my cal goals even though it doesnt look like as much as usual, lots of nuts, tempeh, almondbutter, etc

definitely more fruits, prunes, dried fruits, vegetables

oat bran is a really good source of fiber and good alternative to oats. 

fiber one yogurts and cottage cheese/ granola bars are really good and healthy 

metamucil and flaxseed are also good to add throughout the day. 

fiberous breads like oat breads, whole grain english muffins, certain bagels can contain a good amount of fiber but make sure like rebel said to add some fats in too so you don't make yourself sick if you add too much at once.

snack: gala apple, a few carrots, and a piece of bread (while packing lunch)

lunch english muffin with almond butter, tempeh, baby carrots, orange

snack clif bar (cherry apple something, it was good i reccomend)

dinner greenwheat freekah (haha so good, from TJ's, weird name though) cooked with chickpeas, celery, tomatoes, dressing

snack yogurt and cc mix with weetabix and a small orange

 

another increase today, struggling a bit its okay though. tori i love you, you're amazing and everything looks so good- please try and enjoy it (much better than treatment food!) lala just wanted to say you're doing a really great job here, and i read your journal and you are walking the walk girl, if this forum is triggering please take a break, you've come so far and are such a help to everyone, you're almost there and really are an inspiration.xx

thanks so much for posting times i always have problems with eating throughout the day and following a schedule it really helps to see how other people are doing it

today:

due to ridiculous acid reflux i had to find the most dense calories in the house and use them for my meals. my stomach is also a rock... god i love this process, haha, i'm so bitchy but i know its worth it in the long run.

b- oat bran, almonds, dried blueberries, cooked in milk (!), cottage cheese, coffee

s- grapes, melon (mistakeeeeee shouldn't of had so much filling fruit)

l- great harvest bread (so good and dense i reccomend) with spinach, carrots, cheese and super protein odwalla

s- dove chocolates (!), nuts

d- was going to have spaghetti but not hungry at all, slightly nauseus and refluxy so just went with more gh slices, cheese, amy's veg burger, broccoli with oil (!)

s- idk probably granola and pb in milk or something... or maybe a baked muffin with yog

(!)* indicates challenges. go me

anyone have trouble sleeping when they go to bed really full and bloated? i just lie there all guilty and stressed. i need a good "getting too tired to care about calories and bloating" technique lol

b- oat bran (200), almonds (100) , dried blueberries (100) , canteloupe (50?), cottage cheese(80), milk (40), coffee =550-600

s- grapes = 100

l- rice (200), kidney beans (180), carrots (30), dressing (80), slaw (25) , melon (50) = 550-600 

s- cliff bar =250

d- 2wholegrain bread slices (200) , huge chicken breast with evoo (400), snowpeas and red peppers (60), cheese (40)= 700

dessert- weetabix, cc, almonds =250

..more tbd, feel so bloated today but had to add "dessert" for extra cals miss earlier. i'm proud but guilty. winlosewinlose...ultimately win though, i know i know
