My worst experience wasn't as bad as that... When I was 12ish I had come to England for my summer vacation to visit family. The morning before flying back to Canada, I went with my family to the local market cafe for breakfast. I ordered a full English - fried egg, bacon, sausage, and tomatoes. I dipped some bread into the egg yolk and at that - but when I cut into the egg itself to eat it, the egg white was still completely raw; just the outer "skin" was cooked and opaque white. When I cut into it, it was fully transparent jelly and started oozing out. I felt violently sick afterward, and couldn't eat eggs for the longest time (and I'm a total stickler for anything remotely wobbly or raw-looking). But luckily, I didn't get any actual food poisoning from it, which now seems like a miracle since I'd eaten the whole yolk before cutting into the white.
