Maybe it is because proteins take longer to digest/body to process so you feel less hungry throughout the early part of the day and you can boost yourself with the carbs in the afternoon. I know when I have protein, like eggs for breakfast, I don't feel as hungry at lunch time as I do when I have a bowl of cereal. Who really knows? My best advice is to do what feels right! |
