i know the yoyo feeling.. totally sympathise and am totally trapped there too...

the only positive i can find is that at least it yoyo's back down and doesn't keep climbing so i must be doing something right...?

i'm thinking of doing a kellogs cereal diet for a week or perhaps a soup and fruit thing...

def need to kick start another loss this side of christmas...

want to be in the 160's for the new year..

hi, i just wanted to say that when i joined calorie count i was 201 and now i'm 176 :D

i find that slow and steady wins the race :) also i feel great now and have lots more energy and you will too :D this site has been really good for me to stay focussed and reminded of my goals :)

i like that we can choose our own weigh in day, it makes it really personal and keeps ownership of our own personal challenge :)
i'm currently trying to maintain, even tho i've overweight as i feel that as all i can manage right now.. so if its ok with you guys i'd really like to post here and try and maintain and then as i feel stronger and want to continue with the weight loss i'll be here and ready.. is that ok with you guys?

Glad to see most everyone is hanging in and still striving for loss.  It takes determination but you can do it.  Keep up the good work and be proud.

As a side line, I have to ask someone to remove one of two 45lb wts left on calfmaster unit at the gym because I can't lift it with my back and I just realized that that is the amount of wt my body used to carry around all the time!

Today, I did Tao Bo by watching video replay over the internet! Fun.

We used to eat healthy years ago so what changed that we don't now?

Yes we should definitely focus on the goal.. Although at the moment it seems an impossible distance..

Here's me trying to be positive in the hope that it gets me back to the gym :

I have lost 23lbs overall.. that is almost two stone.. I got to 175 in september so surely i can do it again.. Its ok to have to do it twice as long as you keep trying to follow the goal and don't give up...

Sep 25: 175 i got sad and ate loads.. but,tbh, it felt good that i could do it and not let it consume me.. it only lasted a few days, so now i'm pleased to be back on the wagon and looking forward to losing more weight :) i'm pleased that i didn't let it knock me down :)

Sep 30: 177 well something bluddy knocked me down :( i did sooo well and now i've messed it all up.. am gutted don't know what to do with myself..

everyone is different after work is amazing for me.. but i have friends that go in teh morning and crash after work on teh sofa and some that cram the gym in at lunchtime..

just find a routine that works for you and keep going :) perhaps you need to try a different type of exercise or a class...

well all i know is that to lose weight I've had to very consciously change how i see food.. and make changes to my daily routines.. I'm going to need to make more changes soon to keep losing weight..

so i suppose that to gain weight.. you'll need to do the same.. make small changes first, gaining weight slowly and then making more changes to gain more weight when the effect of those first small changes stop having as much effect..
