I agree with posts above: Working out makes the cramps disappear while your in the middle of it. Aunt Flo visited last week and I felt like curling up in a ball. Instead, I popped in a 50-minute Turbo Jam video and just let loose. It was the only 50 minutes of my day that I didn't feel like crap. :) Just grit your teeth and get to it! Good luck!

Thanks everyone for your input! I agree that the artificial sweetners are a no-no. I can't stand the taste of regular soda but I've been doing well drinking water. So far I've been able to cut it down to about 8-16oz of diet coke a day. It's one of my worst habits!

Oh man fast food.

Let's list by fast food establishment, shall we?

Arby's

Curly fries dipped in cheddar cheese sauce
Several regular roast beef sandwiches covered in cheese sauce
Vanilla milkshakes
(I worked at Arby's for 2 years as a manager)

McDonald's

Double Cheeseburger, small fry, x-large diet coke

Jack in the Box

Two regular tacos, Jumbo Jack with cheese, x-large diet coke

Wendy's

Jr. Bacon Cheeseburger, small fry, diet coke

Burger King

Double cheeseburger meal, king sized!

El Pollo Loco

2 BRC burritos, diet coke

 

Many times I ate fast food 2 times a day!Cry

I'm 5'5" and 180'ish lbs and CC told me to eat 1550 cals/day. I think 1250 sounds a bit low, I remember in my nutrition class our prof. told us 1200 was the bare minimum. I think the more important thing is tracking the difference between the calories burned and the calories consumed. If the difference is in the 500 calorie range you should be losing ~1 pound/week.
