well im 5'8 and i just went from 112 pounds to 117. I understand to get her opinion and not do anything that she does not recommend. I dont want necessarily a work out, i do want to try yoga, but I just feel like moving and not sitting around lol. So I will try yoga, but I started cleaning a lot just to be busy and was looking into light gardening, maybe just to keep me busy and keep my mind off other things |

Thanks everyone for your advice again! I started seeing a therapist and she told me she understands why my doc put me on paxil (which i still havent taken) because it would make me gain weight, but she wants to give me something like prozac which is weight neutral. She wants me to gain the weight on my own and not forced by a medication. |

the pancake syrups are pretty decent . The honey dijon dressing is really good, i havent tried the ranch, but ive tried the blue cheese and it was nasty.
I've been getting them at my local health food store, but i know foodtown by me has them and so does wegmans, the salad dressings are the easiest to find |

I have tried the a lot of Walden Farm products. All I use now is their salad dressings and sometimes their blue berry pancake syrup. I have tried their BBQ sauce, caramel dip, chocolate dip and they taste kinda crappy..too much like splenda. blahh I wouldnt waste money on them. |

OMG best cheese ever haha. It is a Sicilian Table Cheese made from cows milk. It has a mild salty flavor, very unique. My dad was making an old family pizza bread type thing and it took him forever to figure out what type of cheese to use! Hard to find near us, we had to go to this little italian deli by my house. Very unique flavor, very good and worth trying! |

I guess i might be depressed about gaining weight? But i know I have to and whats really confusing is that yesterday i was so positive about eating good healthy food but eating more of it and not stressing and today it went all down hill my diet usually consists of a lot of fruits, vegetables, nuts, and rice. I'm a vegetarian. |

so i ended up getting whole grain kids size penne dish with tomato sauce (light), i made my own side of green beans and I had two medium slices of Italian bread, since I went easy on the calories with the sauce. i love bread lol |

Romeo's, just your general pizzeria. I decided to order my pasta from the kids menu, the whole wheat penne. I'm thinking the tomato sauce is your average sauce, nothing added but who knows lol. I might ask for light sauce, or maybe sauce on the side? maybe marinara??
but that garlic and olive oil does sound wayyy better hhah |

| Foods | Low calorie versus high calories with more nutrition? | Apr 02 2009 18:04 (UTC) |

I drink almond milk when it comes to my protein shakes and cereal, since those already tend to be high in calories, but when it comes just to drinking, id take the skim milk. I have whole wheat bread and its like 200 cals per slice!! thats a little much for my mind lol so id always pick the low cal ones. |

I'm definitely listening to him about the fat intake, anti-depressants I'm just worried about the negative side effects and I'm not too thrilled with the idea of pills :-/ |

He addressed the issue by giving me anti-depressants to stop caring so much about counting calories. I guess I'm still in that whole denial "i dont need help stage" Currently I'm seeking a therapist, I'd rather not take anti-depressants. I know I should be trying to gain weight, its just a little hard right now, but I do eat!! I'm trying a little more each day |

Thanks everyone! I really think it is because I do not eat enough fat, not on purpose or anything but I tend just to eat lots a foods that are very low in fat. I'm 19, 5'8 and right now 115 pounds. I eat normally about 1300-1400 calories a day. I'm trying to maintain now. My doctor told me anyway that I need more fat (I'm always cold and what not and my hands have been really dry :( ) so i am trying to incorporate those healthy fats more, so I guess nuts are the way to go? lol I'm just afraid I'll always eat too many!!! |
