I am going to repeat what alot of people here have already said--cardio, cardio, cardio. My stomach was where I carried ALOT of weight and it was the last to go--and it took me alot of running/cardio to lose it. I didn't even concentrate on crunches and ab work until I really saw it decrease. Then i started trying to tone--still no 6 pack but I am happy and still trying! :)

Hey,

  I am almost 5'10 with a medium frame and I was told 156 lbs by this site. I am at about 157 and have been staying here for quite awhile and I am not really planing to go any lower. I am going to keep toning up and hitting the gym. I really stopped "trying" to lose at 160 and the last few came off--I think my body is happy where it as I keep coming back to this weight especially after TTom. Good luck--you will know it when you hit it!

Sorry for the late response--I was on vacation last week!

I am holding strong at 160.4--vacation wasn't conducive to working out and counting calories! Here's to a better next week!

Poof--wish granted. Unfortunately, now men are so romantic it is annoying and all they want to do is give you flowers nad chocolates and be sappy. They are barely men anymore! LOL!

I wish I was at the beach right now soaking up the sun instead iof sitting in my windowless office!

Hey determined! Unfortunately you can't really spot reduce like that. I hear what you are saying as well-I have shoulders too and it is annoying as I always get bigger tops than bottoms. Are you weight training as well? I have gone down some (in terms of being toned) but yeah sometimes you have to accept your build. :) Sounds like you are doing good though--keep looking at toning up--pilates is good for that. Also, cardio is what will help you get rid of your stomach. Good luck!

Poof--you don't have to hem your pants because now everything is too short! You can't find any pants that are long enough for you...now you have to wear high waters everywhere! :)

Hey,

 I know Tasti D Lite and it is good. I went to one last month--there is only a few here in Brooklyn--I had the peanut butter cup yogurt and it was soooo yummy! People get obsessed with it! :)

Hey, I use one of the Winsor Pilates DVDs as well--the 20 minute Burn Basics one...for the last few weeks. I try to do it 2-3 times per week along with my gym time. I have noticed it really has helped with my flexibility in my legs. It's easier to stretch out before I run.  It's fun and 20 minutes so I like to do it in the mornings!

I love that my tummy has gone down--yeah some of it's still there but whatever--most of it is gone so that makes me very happy! :) Also, my shoulders and arms--what the hell I am pretty happy overall!

Sorry I am just happy it's Wednesday and 2 more days more of work until a 4 day weekend for me! Woohoo!

Here is what I read in an article awhile back and as I am prone to them as well I paid attention! Black circles under the eyes canbe hereditary at which point there isn't alot you can do except makeup. It is also linked to dehydration as well. Lack of sleep is of course the most common cause which is when i get them BAD! You can try drinking more water adn getting more sleep and see if that helps! COngrats on the weight loss--that rocks!

Hey Candy,

   Welcome to the site--there are alot of great tools to use for her. I started at 180 as well and am trying for 156--I am a little taller than you! :) Be patient as it takes time and effort but the best part about this site is that it is free and full of great advice and info! Good luck with everything--can I add you as a friend?

You walked 60 blocks in yesterday's heat? Insane--I live and work in Brooklyn and yesterday was b-a-d. Good job though--nice to turn to exercise as opposed to drinks and/or junk. Good job-=-and  iam glad you made it in that heat! Wow--that is impressive. LOL.

Hey,

  This is funny because this is something I have noticed alot myself since losing weight. I see so many now on my legs and feet and it can be a bit creepy! If it does really bother you, then definitely go to the doctor but I do tihnk it is less padding over them now! LOL!

I said bye bye to my everythng /sesame/ raisin, ok any kind of bagels with cream cheese--a breakfast/lunch staple since I was a kid!! Sad sad moment--I don't truly miss it but sometimes I indulge just as a treat. Also, takeout from Mexican restaurants as well as Chinese. Also, potato chips--a true downfall! I have always been a water drinker but I did give up my afternoon diet coke or soda habit. Thankfully I didn't have to give up my Dunkin Donuts flavored coffee though I have started using Splenda. Have't given up 1/2 and 1/2 though--just sacrificed elsewhere! Good luck with everything and doing well here!
