*Sigh* No loss for me this week.  But no gain either.  Still at 197-8ish.

I've gone down a pants size, so that's something!  Absolutely trashed my knees while coaching my basketball team, so I've got to watch that.  They are not used to quick turns, and I can't do without my knees at the moment - gotta keep on hikin'!

Book recommendation for y'all: Animal, Vegetable, Miracle by Barbara Kingsolver.  I am enjoying it, especially the part about the chickens, as I have just started raising chickens.

I grew up raising chickens, I actually used to keep them in my bedroom as chicks in a kiddie-pool with the warming lamp until they were big enough to go out into the coop haha.

dawnvb67- Great job, and good luck this week!

I'm down 6 lbs, so now it's

sw: 200 cw: 194 ( pretty sure) gw:157

I didn't work out tonight though and I have to get some surgery Wednesday that's going to slow my progress a little bit. I'm hopeful though.

It said if I consume 1350 calories a day I can be at my goal weight by May 30 2009 !!! How exciting!!!

Thank you dawnvb67. I know I can get back down to 180, hopefully even less than that and I'm using a baby to motivate me. And I love that quote about no matter what you weigh you are already somebodys goal weight! that's great and so true.

I am SO EXCITED that this is a forum where people reply!!! :D !! It is nice to know that a few of you feel the same way I do about some things. I was watching a home video with me in it and that prompted me to find this website, haha. I want to have another child soon but there is no way that I want to start out at this weight ( 200lbs). I started at 180lbs with my son, and I ballooned to 235!! ( Lets just say if there was ever any glimmer of hope for wearing a bikini in my lifetime, it was taken away with that..) So there's no way I'm going to get pregnant at 200lbs and do that to my body again. And for the first time in my life I gained a double chin with all that weight, and praise the lord it is gone now but I do not ever want to have it again. I have this picture in my mind of myself being a pretty pregnant woman, and I think that might motivate me.

Hi Everyone, I am so excited to see TALL GIRLS LIKE ME!!!!!!!!! I feel so at home. I'm 5'11 and currently 200 lbs. My lowest weight at this height that I can recall is 169lbs when I was in High School, and I did that by exercising an hour a day and dramatically reducing my calorie intake, which is probably why it didn't last too long. However, I was never more happy with my body than when I stepped on the scale at 169, I had worked soooooo hard to get under 170, it was my goal. For whatever reason I fell off the wagon so to speak and now years later and one baby later, I REALLY want to get down to at least 175. As most of you know, for us to look like we've lost weight we need to lose quite a bit- Which also can be nice for those times when you gain and nobody notices as well. Does anyone else FEEL smaller than they are? I think this is where some of my motivation issues come from. Until I see a picture or video with myself in it, I really don't realize just how much bigger I am than how I picture myself to be. I guess I better get some unflattering pictures to use for motivation. Anyways that's my story-any tips or encouraging stories, etc. are very much appreciated.
